Never ever make the mistake of parking there if you want to eat at Agua Linda. Oh they'll tell you all about the signs as they tow your car and ask for money to get it off the chains as the tow driver and store owners pocket your cash. Scam.

Los Compadres Mexican grocery store has a good selection of products to choose from. They have fresh fruits and vegetables, a large fresh meat department, lots of snacks and deserts too. The parking is very limited dueto other businesses sharing it, but they have a few marked spots just for Los Compadres.

Awesome place, not only is their freshly baked bread tasty they have great meats, and the staff awesome. Not to mention I am a UGA student who has had to find last minute parking and they always come through!

I have been a customer for many years, but recently (with the new management), I noticed they started to sell tobacco products, including vape, which are terrible for our health. We don’t need another outlet, and especially a Latino one, spreading poison in our society. It’s a shame!

This place is not like it was it used to be a family-owned business and now it's a corporation so it's not the same.

Good place to find Latino ingredients that you won't find on your regular grocery stores. Employees are always nice and proper.

I love this grocery store. Great produce, in fact if you love papaya this is the only place in town to get a real one. Great butcher - great selection of dry goods. Of you're having Mexican tonight then you should be shopping at Los compadres.

Not a bad place but very limited produce selection. It doesnt quite have enough content to be a stand alone grocery store but its close, if youre willing to compromise a little. I have tested a number of local small grocery stores and have chosen a different go-to Mexican grocery for, what I can confirm is THE BEST produce in Athens. Its down off of Chase St. approaching the loop. I wont name drop in another businesses review.

A good grocery store for Hispanic ingredients. As an Indian I found it useful for certain items like I was craving g for tamarind and I found it here. They have Colombian and Cuban coffee.. Yay!...come here for affordable groceries.

They have good tender meats and great and friendly people to serve you and help to find what you need. I was there with my sister here in Athens. It's not that expensive either.
