Dr. Lucas is focused on YOU when you're in her care. She will tell you straight what needs to be done and if you follow her advice, you'll feel much better. Both my wife and myself recommend her to anyone who needs the best Gastro in the city. In addition, her staff is great.

My dad was admitted to Piedmont Athens Regional and she was very rude about having to come in on the weekend to perform an endoscopy on him. My dad lives in Athens and is on the liver transplant list at Piedmont ATL and he was too sick to drive all the way to ATL. Dr. Lucas berated him and my mom for coming to the Athens location and not ATL. As an RN I am disgusted with her bedside manner and no patient should be treated this way when they are sick. She is very unprofessional and I hope she never receives treatment like this for herself or a loved one.
