So I am going to assume that La Jalisco owns Michoacana because this is the place I visited(not Jalisco). I love to take my nieces here. It's so cute. The ice cream, and snacks here are amazing. I also get to freshen up my Spanish here which also a plus.

Has some real good bakery style Mexican treats available. I always come here for my threats. Just make sure to get them when they are fresh.

I went in there today to get some meat , the lady was weighing it out and a whole roach crawled out on the meat glass. I told them I didn’t want anything and left . Will not be back.

The bakery department is about the best I've seen in the Athens area. The store appeared clean (shelves, floor, etc.), but there was a foul permeating odor that hit you upon entering. In my experience, I believe it's coming from the produce department, which is immediately to the right as you enter. They're not cleaning the refrigerated display cases. I know the meat cases are cleaned because, if not, the place would stink so bad you couldn't remain inside.

Beautiful produce and DELICIOUS pastries! Lots of selection for low prices! Don’t sleep on the meat counter, the Al Pastor is incredible and better than you’ve ever had at home.

Such a cool store, and the taqueria is incredible. I could literally eat there every day. The pastor tacos are my favorite so far, but I'm still eating my way through the menu.

I stopped in because I heard they have a small takeout counter. The two tacos I had were authentic with fresh ingredients. Plus the total came to 3 bucks. Can't beat it. I recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

I can not say enough good things. Moving from a heavily populated Latin-American area to Athena we were afraid we wouldn’t be able to find our goodies close by! I was wrong! They have it all, and always super friendly and helpful!
