This might be the best ice cream place in Athens. I find their ice cream to be generally higher quality than Jeni's (although they do have less interesting flavors). Their chocolates are very expensive but I do feel like the quality matches how much your paying. My favorite part about this place definitely has to be the staff, I don't come here often since its out of my budget but the few times I do the staff has always been very helpful and just a joy to talk and interact with.

I absolutely love this store!! The staff is super nice and friendly. They had samples of their Apple pie Apple which was sooo good. The store was so clean and the atmosphere was just amazing. I got their smore’s ice cream in a regular waffle cone (which is not only made in house but was warm by the way) and omg you definitely get your money’s worth here. And the best part was their hot chocolate. It’s so rich and good not to mention it was so beautiful I had to take a picture of it. Overall it was a great experience and I hope they stay around for a long time!

Nice spot to grab a scope of your favorite ice cream. I ordered the New Orleans Praline ice cream which was delicious. I enjoyed the outside seating! Overall, my visit was pleasant.

The service is amazing. The two ladies were sooo helpful and suggested we taste the ice cream before we bought any. All of the flavors are so delicious. The strawberry ice-cream tasted homemade. We will be back.

This was a very beautiful store with many amazing sweet treats to choose from. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by friendly faces behind the counter. We were offered samples of the homemade fudge, which were absolutely amazing. Near the fudge sampling was a beautiful assortment of miscellaneous chocolate treats. I did not try the turtles this time, but I am dreaming about them as I cannot wait to bite into them on my next visit. After looking around the store and taking in all of the scrumptious treats they have to offer we decided to get a few cones of ice cream. They had many amazing flavors of ice cream to choose from and we’re happy to allow us to sample a few. In order to keep things consistent they weigh the scoops so that, you’ll always get the same amount each time which I think is really great because sometimes people scoop less than others so this fixes that issue. The ice cream tasted amazing. It was very creamy and not overly sweet. Each flavor was packed with yummy goodness and we wish the scoops could’ve gone to the ceiling, we will definitely be back to try the other flavors and those turtle candies I was talking about earlier. I hope this location does well as it’s a nicer ice cream location than most and is also a sweet treat candy stop as well.

That sounds really frustrating and happened with me twice—not just the refusal to give you something simple like a spoon and a cup, but also the way the manager treated the employees. Both of the times, they told me they were out of items. There are stacks of cups in front of me. It’s one thing for a business to have strict policies on extra items, but publicly scolding workers for trying to provide good customer service is unprofessional. It must have been uncomfortable to witness that kind of treatment, and it also puts the workers in a tough position where they have to lie to customers because of a strict manager.

Went in with a friend to look around. The shop smelled so good and there were so many treats to choose from! I ended up getting a plain caramel apple and I was the best one I ever had. Would recommend!

Great experience at the new Athens, Ga., Kilwins. Friendly service, super clean shop, fantastic ice cream (we had the Butter Pecan and Georgia Peach), and a huge variety of chocolate treats and Mackinac Island fudge. Spoke with the owners/operators…… great people. We will definitely be back. Gotta try some of that fudge. 😋
