I have been going to Dr. Jenkins for years. As always he is pleasant and professional, but I was shocked this morning by one of the receptionists. She was very unfriendly, rude tone of voice, and made no eye contact. I hope she doesn't ruin it for Dr. Jenkins' office. He's a nice person. I see the person in the previous review mentioned the same issue.

I have been a patient at Jenkins for several years now, and I was disappointed with my recent visit. The person at the front desk was not friendly. She asked me my name, asked for ID and insurance, and handed me a clipboard with paperwork for me fill out. No smile, no kindness. Following my exam, I was interested in purchasing new glasses, but the optician never came out of his office to assist me. I asked the person at the front desk about it, and she didn’t seem to care. If you’re looking for good customer service, this is not the place.

Very professional, very knowledgeable about health insurance and surprisingly very knowledgeable on the latest trends in eyewear. Dr. Jenkins listened and addressed all of my concerns. Super excited to wear my new frames when they get in! I already recommended them to family and friends.

I've been using Jenkins Vision Care for several years now. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. They always work to make sure I maximize my insurance benefit for contact lenses. Dr Jenkins is very friendly and always listens to my concerns or answers my questions!

I love this place. The staff is so friendly and professional. Dr. Jenkins takes his time with me, addressing and explaining any issues I my have. He is also a very gentle and kind man with a wonderful manner. My exams are excellent and the wait time is not noticeable because it appears the office staff knows how to schedule. I personally don't have a desire to seek another Eye Dr.....because this one is wonderful. I have been going to Jenkins Eye Car for 12 years and very happy with his care. Thank you for reading!

I have been a patient of Dr. Jenkins (and occasionally Dr. Penland) for over 15 years now. I wear contact lenses and glasses. I have had nothing but a positive experience all of these years in every aspect of the practice. I've purchased contacts, glasses, and prescription sunglasses through their practice. I have found their prices to be competitive, and all charges are always thoroughly explained to me, so there are no surprises. I won't go anywhere else, and I encourage anyone shopping around to give them a try!

It was wonderful seeing them again after over a decade. As usual, he gets my complicated prescription perfect. The man is a genius. The receptionist and crew are all so nice and warm. The waiting room has a very relaxing energy. The new glasses fit perfectly. I will be back next year for some contact lenses.

Dr Jenkins is a very nice guy and seems like he knows what he’s doing, but twice the folks here messed up my prescription, and after the first time I brought my glasses to them to understand why they messed up, and they charged me an additional $30 fee to tell me that my PD was not correct on the first exam. But because I purchased frames online they refused to drop the fee when they messed up my prescription. Would not recommend using these people.

I went in for my first appointment with Jenkins Vision, and I was more than surprised. I was greeted with a cheery hello, had the shortest waiting time that I've ever had, and had the friendliest interactions with all of the staff that worked there that day. Highly recommended!
