My experience today left me legit saying did that just happen. This lady employee I encountered today was so rude!!! The one with round glasses was RUDE and honestly slow too!! I came shopping for some shoes as one does when they step into JD, no one is on the floor so I go up to the employee with the dumb circle glasses. She’s on her phone, doesn’t see me coming, i stand in front of her and expect her to talk first, a hi how can i help. Literally nothing, just looks at me like 😐. Like? Hello?? So I speak first and tell her what I need. After that she just keeps staring at me. Like, are you alive or are you slow? Like what made JD want to hire her because it definitely wasn’t knowing how to speak or have a normal interaction. I’m sorry but incompetent people really get on my nerves because how are you a retail worker but can’t even ask how are you. I’ve worked in retail for a short 3 years while in college so the fact that it’s not common sense by now is insane.

I come to Tanger frequently and every time I come in here the employees are blatantly rude, and very unprofessional. All immature teenagers. It’s a known thing as this point that JD employees are a joke. Even at the Mall of Georgia location, I was buying a pair of New Balances and when I was ready to check out they were completely ignoring me. Also, the other day, I tried to go into the store at Tanger and it was 30 minutes before they closed, and the door was locked. JD, hire some better employees.

so 2 seperate times ive came and the store was closed 30 mins early both times, mind you we drive from an hour and a half away. came to pick up 1,500 worth of shoes each time & both times left empty handed due to staff locking the doors early. mind you as i type this review there are customers in the store trying on clothing. NEVER will i make the ride and try to give JDs my business again. Dont waste your money or your time. dishonest people, rude employees, & relatively overpriced clothing. all in all the worst clothing store in tanger in my opinion.

i went in this store looking for shoes. i sat on the floor for about 5 minutes looking for workers and catching eye contact with them and no one helping me. i tried on a shoe on display not knowing you can’t do that . finally some young man came up to me and told me you can’t try those on and told me to get out of the store when i had no idea and no help with anything . he was very rude and disrespectful to me and my friends. i will not be giving this store anywhere my money anymore when i have bought so many shoes from there for years i will be going somewhere else now .

Very rude Couple of young ladies working on the counter once you ask for help no one does or bother to answer ! all of them on the phones ! and the one who responds chewing a gum with the worst attitude Speaking with unprofessional way Made me feel not spending money while i was just on the cash register Worst JD branch ever visited

OVERPRICED!!! Rude customer service. Both in store and online. They own Finish line & Nike. Their shoes & apparel were marked up from. 20-40%. They had inventory when I bought online to pick up there. Then cancelled my order and haven't refunded the charges. Shady shady people and place especially if you have an issue & have to call online. Better to go Rack Room same parking lot , same shoes. Way better deals. The managers are kids & every one there is a manager but no one helped try and fixed my situation when it was their fault for selling me stuff on line guess what they were in stock when I went to pick up the shoes.... Kids being manager 6 standing around being managers doing nothing big fat 0 Stay away. I'm a local guide & I live here.

I walk in the store at 3:54pm on 01-16-25 walk around for 9 mins. During the time two more customers came in and then a group 3-5 ppl walk into the store. There was three employees behind the counter just talking with each other. The crazy thing I really wanted to buy the Nike Airmax for work but why spend money in a store with horrible customer service. If I was the district manger all three women would been let go. Why have a store and let money walk out never even try!!!

Terrible customer service, over priced shoes with very little options and no return policy on shoes bought! Go to Nike or Shop for your shoes online rather than this dumpster of a store.
