The office personnel for Dr. Nlandu are very helpful, happy, positive, and professional. The office is very clean. The wait time is barely noticeable. The office provides a water cooler. The office was a bit tricky to find navigating through the building the first visit. My 86 year old dad developed a staph infection from surgery and was referred to Dr. Nlandu for treatment. Dr. Nlandu explained the treatment plan in detail and listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions. Dr. Nlandu is very professional and confidant which eases the situation completely. We trust him completely. We recommend Dr. Nlandu without hesitation. Athens is fortunate to have Dr. Nlandu as a provider that knows what he’s doing without doubt. We called the office to ask questions concerning upcoming tests ordered by another provider to make sure it was safe given the treatment plan already in place by Dr. Nlandu - we received a call back within minutes with advice. It’s a breath of fresh air to receive this type of service.

Dr. Nlandu's attention to detail, apparent knowledge base, bedside manner, and overall quality of care is 2nd to none. Out of the approximately 22 physicians my father has seen so far this year, based on acute need over the past 2 months, Dr. Nlandu is 1 of the 4 total who I know I can trust as he's repeatedly proven this to be true. He's always clearly up to speed on the latest results available and is ready to discuss what they mean, etc.; I didn't realize how rare this is until recently. Whenever I have a question, I also know I'll get a patient and comprehensive answer from him - which unfortunately seems to be yet another rarity in healthcare today. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Nlandu, and we desperately need more medical professionals like him.

Dr Lovell was completely dismissive of my concerns, uninformative, condescending, and more concerned with his ego than my care. I have several significant health issues and I have unusual reactions to medications and he was not at all interested in how my past experiences might impact treatment. To me, doctors who ignore relevant information put patient health at risk.

If someone comes from this group comes to see you in the hospital ask for a different group of doctors. The staff is very disorganized and rude. Even to the point of losing losing blood that they drew. They are careless to the point of risking your life when you have an allergy because they would rather you die then to think and perscribe another medication.
