I have been shopping here for 3 years. Ive always loved it there, but today was different. @3:50pm on Saturday, I came in and was greeted. I said hello, no problem there, but i couldnt find an oil that i got last time there. The girl acted like she didnt know what i was talking about, so i explained it to her. I know products change often, but the way she was acting was like i didnt know what i was talking about. Then proceeded to say the only body oil we have is right there after the third time explaining it to her. It was the oil i wanted, but too big, i asked her if it was all you had and she acted like i was inconveniencing her. Thats poor service. Im in retail so i know what uts like,so i was being nice, she should have given me the kindness. Her vibe was way off, it made me uncomfortable and so I left after buying the big bottle. Normally i stick around to see whats new, but her negative vibe filled the room.

Indie South is a great spiritual store for Mystics! Great staff to help you find what you are looking for! Fantastic selection of books, crystals, art, skin care, and beautifully wrapped sage wands!! What a treasure it was finding today, happened to pass by and it was absolutely fun! Can’t wait to visit again!!

I only really shop here for plants. Given the limited availability of interesting selections at big name stores like Lowe’s, this place doesn’t disappoint. A little pricey, but worth it for well maintained plants you can’t easily find at other stores.

This is my favorite store in Athens. I will pop by every few weeks to get presents for my loved ones and treats for myself! Over the years I have purchased birthday cards, clothing, crystals, candles, books, tea, soap, jewelry, and dozens of other items. As a long-time fan of the shop, I would highly recommend it for those looking for beautifully crafted gifts. The maker’s market is also amazing! Sometimes I just visit the shop to reset my nervous system; it’s truly magical!

Very cool spot , excellent vibes, friendly staff, nice healthy houseplants, vintage records , etc . I highly recommend the low smoke japanese incense , it smells great and it really is very low smoke.
