Just left this place. I walked in to look at the lights. Looked around for a few minutes. Saw three different employees and no one said hello or asked to help me. Won't be back!

Awesome customer service! I worked with Geoff and Claire to replace all the lights at my work. I had no idea what I was looking for and they found the perfect solution. The lights arrived quickly, have been installed and we love them! Everyone I spoke with at HE was great and I highly recommend them. They know their stuff and have a great eye for design.

I love their wide range of stocked products aside from electrical supplies and lighting, such as unique decor, toys and books. I took an small antique boudoir lamp that had belonged to my late MIL to them May 24, 2024. It had a broken socket and needed a new cord with an on/off switch. They took it apart, put it in a box (which at one point could not find for 20 minutes) and did nothing for seven whole weeks! Never called, no explanation, nothing. I got upset the time they were looking for it and a young woman employee spoke to me very rudely. Never again.

If you need professional lighting design assistance, go see Claire in the showroom at House Electric! After struggling to find the right fixtures myself, Claire helped me find beautiful fixtures that were the correct scale and aesthetic for my house. She is kind, incredibly helpful, and has excellent design skills.

I have a large outdoor hanging front door fixture that was looking rough after 14 years. I looked online and couldn't fine anything to replace it. My electrician suggested I take it to House Electric and they refinished it for me. Looks brand new! Friendly customer service!

Also impressive was the call I received from Walter, the lamp specialist, sharing that both lamps had been repaired. Athens is fortunate to still have a family run business operating at such a high standard and providing unique services.

GOOD LUCK getting help for your electrical needs at this business right now! !!!! They are NOT OPEN, WILL NOT EVEN TAKE A BULB FROM YOU at the door (with gloves, mask and hand sanitizer). I had to DRIVE HOME, text a picture of the bulbs, then drive back to get them. Called the number on the door when I returned - received a message that I was "calling after normal business hours." Didn't tell me to go all the way around to the back to pick them up...... until I was half way around the back, on the WRONG SIDE of the fence. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT NOW!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!! Could not be WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
