******** do not book any car from them******* The 2 ladies that work there was very rude and had no customer service skill. Please avoid this place at all cost I’m never returning there luckily for me my insurance cover the cost of my rental. They were so getup I wonder how they got the job there

The Winder location is easy to get to along with a great selection of vehicles. The staff was extremely helpful and the rental process was fast and efficient. It was a pleasure renting from this location and I will certainly be doing it again.

Car was full of cigarettes smoke & residue. I have asthma and had to go clean the car myself to get the soot out. Both front desk females were RUDE and UNHAPPY Car was badly damaged/ scratches all over the vehicle. The car desperately needed a wheel alignment. This is not a corporate owned location. A franchise hertz with miserable employees! The location has only been open two years! YUCK rent from Buford its corporate owned. I’m sticking with Enterprise until I have the need to rent from the Buford location.

Not a good experience. While I car I received was nice, no issues there. Customer service was lacking. I got there when they first opened (this branch shut down half way through my rental time), I clearly interrupted the employees breakfast and she was annoyed the entire time. Hopefully the Athens location is better.

Had a rental set up with my insurance company. Called the next day since Hertz never contacted me to confirm the reservation and was told they didn't contact me because they didn't have any cars available. I asked when they would have one available and they said about a week and a half later (this was over a holiday). I said that was ok and set up the reservation for that date and had to postpone the bodywork that was to be done on our car. Called a few days before I was supposed to pick up to confirm everything was good to go and what time it would be available. I was it would be available probably around noon. They did not tell me I had to pick it up at noon (which I was unable to anyway because of, you know, work). Arrived at about 5pm and was told that since I wasn't there at noon, they gave the car to someone else because they assumed I didn't need it anymore. Was told they even gave me 2 hours to show up.... but didn't bother to call me or anything to see if I still needed it. And of course, they had no other cars available. TL/DR: Horrible customer service and communication. And as Seinfeld said "the reservation is supposed to keep the car there"

We called the day before to set up the rental appointment. Arrived and waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. The office was clean and observant of Covid safety Guidelines. The clerk(I think Cassie) was very courteous and helpful and had my rental ready. Brand new Chevy Traverse.. very clean with all the bells and whistles. I was out and on my way within 15 minutes of arriving. Very happy with our experience.

Always a very pleasant experience at this location! I rent a lot of vehicles from Hertz all over the U.S. So I know the good and bad. These ladies are top-notch; they always greet you with a smile. Sure you might have to wait an extra five minutes or so but this is a small location with usually two employees working at a time. If you're not patient enough to wait five minutes then nobody can help you!

It WAS THE HERTZ IN LAWRENCEVILLE NOT WINDER but I got rearended and I had full coverage and the rental was covered by my insurance company and I returned the car on a full tank. I didnt get my $50 deposit back and they charged me $500 on my credit card. I took pictures of the car before I left the rental lot in it and when I returned it. There was no issues what so ever. So they got paid by my insurance company and tried to get me fo pay it too... Thats NOT how you do business.

I had a great experience here. I had rented a car in Atl and had issues with the car on way to VA. I called several places on the way and noone had a car to exchange. I found this location and the lady Payton was so helping and got right on it for me . When I arrived she had the car in front and ready for us. We did paperwork quickly and was on my way. She was very kind and had great customer service.

Made a reservation on line and called a week ahead to make sure that everything were confirmed on my rental and the rep. said that everything was good but after I arrived I was denied because I didn't have any credit transactions in 12 months. Needed to go to a family funeral now my plans are ruined. I will pass the word DO NOT USE HERTZ.
