Today was my first time ever using Hertz. I hit a deer earlier in the day and my insurance agent jumped through hoops to get me situated at the start of this Labor Day weekend with a tow, a repair shop, and a rental car reservation. I was contacted by Enterprise later in the day to say that they could not get me into anything until Tuesday due to the holiday bookings. (My fear realized.) Extremely disappointed, I hung up and I called Hertz extremely last minute on a UGA first game of the year - Labor Day combination weekend and Hertz had a car available that fit my needs. I was willing to pay for the rental, but after I explained my situation Hertz rep Amber explained to me that I could have my insurance reservation moved to them and not have to pay anything. Amber really put my mind at ease and got the reservation started pending the transfer. I got my insurance rep to move my reservation and I was on my way to pick up my rental. When I arrived the process was quick and easy. Amber explained everything thoroughly and my mind was finally totally at ease after a very rough day. I was in and out in a pearl white 2025 Toyota Camry with red leather interior. I am totally enjoying my rental, and my weekend and sanity were saved! Hertz came in clutch! And I will be forever grateful to Hertz and Amber for saving the day in such a super tight squeeze. Thank you so very much Amber!!!!! You’re the best!

Great service experience. Picked me up at the car repair shop in a timely manner and had me out of the office in 10 minutes with my vehicle. Very friendly and dependable employees in the office.

I'm certain you can relate. I loathe having my car repaired, and loathe having to rent a car while it's being fixed. That said, my experience with Hertz at its Athens Chevrolet location (4110 Atlanta Highway) was - against all odds - extremely pleasant. In the back side of Athens Chevrolet lies a nice little Hertz rental car business. Not much to look at but nice people and good cars. Loved our Rav 4 Hybrid. A great ride.

This is the worst car rental I’ve ever experienced. Someone else’s insurance was paying for my rental while my car was in the shop, so I was expecting to be accommodated. They gave me the worst car I’ve ever seen that tossed me around the cabin and was significantly worse than the car I had. They’re apparently supposed to match the value of your car so this was already unacceptable. After I filled up the tank and drove it there, they charged me 15$ for less than 1/8 of the tank being missing just for driving there. Stay away from this hertz, horrible customer service, the office is musty and depressing, the selection of cars is limited and horrible, staff is not friendly, and they nickel And dime you for everything they can, even when insurance “covers it”. I would rather walk than rent a car from this cheapscape excuse of a car rental

Hertz is now overcharging people all over the country by adding insurance, roadside assistance and more. Hertz corporation is refusing to refund the charges. Hertz overcharged me $250.99 and this is a very common review on Hertz rental all over the country. Do your research and find a better car rental company.

I had a wonderful experience with Hertz, and I plan to use them again. Debra and Elise treated me right. They tended to me right away, and had already had a car set up for me and picked me up, and dropped me off when I needed to pick up my car at the shop.

Shelley at Hertz on Atlanta highway is awesome. I highly recommend dealing with her if you have to use that location!! And also shout out to Mary at the Athens airport location for finding my bag I left in the vehicle!!

If I could give you zero stars I would. You have the rudest female employee that has no business in customer service. be very aware the five star ratings are all fake. There's no way in Hades these people have a good recommendation from anybody.
