Let me start by saying Dr Garrard himself is absolutely wonderful... his staff however, not so much. They are the reason we have decided to transfer to another office with my grandson. Its a shame a new mother can't call and make an appointment to see her child's pediatrician because his staff has set so many barriers you can't get through. Not to mention UNFRIENDLY staff. I am a practice manager of an office myself, many times over the last 3 years I've wanted to get involved and didn't. But today my daughter wanted to get her son in to see Dr Garrard since he's pulling at his ears (he has tubes) and we are leaving to go out of town yet the staff shut her down AGAIN saying they can't make a sick appointment that far in advance and she's looking at the schedule herself and see's an opening they won't give it to her. But hometown ped's made her an appointment without hesitation or attitude. It truly is a shame we do love Dr Garrard but his staff is unacceptable. p.s i want to screenshot her facebook post and add it so badly (it's sad she feels the way she does) but I'm just going to proceed with contacting the Georgia State Medical Board to file a complaint because I feel like it's unethical the way his staff does and denying her an appointment to make sure her son is ok..

Dr. Garrard has taken excellent care of my kids for 18 years now! We’re sad that our oldest is graduating from pediatrics and won’t be able to see him anymore. Even though they stay busy, they have always made time for us when needed, and we never have to wait long. Couldn’t ask for a better pediatrician!

So basically I had a great time, because I was goofing off the whole time with my brother, and we were making Dr G laugh. Oh by the way shots are better for me if there is water available bcuz well I’m not old enough for the real stuff. (Only Dr G will get the joke).

We love Dr Garrard. He interacts with the kids and makes them feel safe and important. He uses antibiotics when needed not just to pacify worried parents. Which I like because I only want my kids medicated when it's needed.

I have used Dr. Gerrard for both of my children (1 and 3) and I have been very satisfied with the way in which they treat our family. While this is a very busy office, Dr. Gerrard will answer every question I have (and I have a LOT) and does not walk out of the room until he feels that all issues have been addressed. I wish there were more doctors like him!!!

Dr. Gerard is the BOMB!!! I'm 20 now, but he was my pediatrician for my entire childhood/adolescent years. I don't like to go to the doctor. However, he's literally the best, and I have yet to find an adult doctor good enough to replace him.
