I found this store searching for a shoe brand no longer carried by the biggest sporting goods store in Athens. I was very happy with the selection of shoes in stock, and the service put the rest to shame. It's nice to go into a store where the staff actually knows the products they sell. It's also great to find the prices match or beat online stores, including the site with big vans dropping off packages everywhere. If you're looking for shoes, hiking or camping gear, or even kayaks and other outdoor stuff, check out Half-Moon Outfitters at the corner of Prince Ave and Barber Street. You'll love it! I wish I found it sooner.
