This review is about their billing practices, not the care itself. I fully support the mission/approach of this business but find its website and billing practices to be suspect. Specifically, they state they’ll do a consult for free - and in my case, began charging for the subscription without ever completing the consultation. In fact, I was charged for nearly a year when the initial consult email communication we had never resulted in completing that appointment. They never should have started the subscription without first completing their advertised “free consultation.” My word of warning - don’t give them your cc info before you meet with them.

I just found out about Greenleaf Direct Primary Care and I'm really impressed! The prices are upfront and a lot more affordable than what you'd expect elsewhere. Dr. Estep really took the time to listen to my concerns and the solutions we came up with have been incredibly effective. Plus, getting in touch is always quick and easy. Definitely recommend if you're looking for dependable, affordable healthcare.

Just signed on with Dr. Estep and with the Direct Primary Care model, the amount of access I have to the doc's time is pretty incredible. I'm having some weird symptoms and sent him an email asking if I could schedule an appointment. He got me enrolled really quickly, and that same day we had several emails back and forth discussing my symptoms. We did a telehealth phone call to discuss my medical history the next morning, and that same evening he got me in for an after-hours visit so we could get the ball rolling on my lab work as fast as possible. Dr. Estep has also encouraged me to be in frequent contact with him via email or text, which is a feature of Direct Primary Care: doctors have fewer patients overall compared to traditional practice doctors and can therefore spend more individualized time with patients. For my age bracket, my flat monthly fee for office visits is $60 and I'm getting a bunch of blood work done for about $125. The pricing for each type of blood test is fully itemized from a list with transparent fixed pricing that he showed me before telling me which one's he wants to order for me from the lab. I'm completely uninsured too, so I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest way to get tests done for someone in my situation. Really happy with my first office visit and the overall Direct Primary Care model.

I'm so impressed by the services I've gotten so far with Dr. Estep. He has a compassionate presence, is thorough and knowledgeable. Perhaps the best feature is accessibility. For a low monthly cost, patients have the ability to email and text with the physician in between appointments. It is easy to schedule and be seen quickly when needed (same day or next). I would highly recommend Dr. Estep and Greenleaf.

Dr E is absolutely fabulous. Our first interaction with him was a house call for crying out loud. He's knowledgeable, patient, caring. Yes it is out of the box from traditional healthcare. He texts me regularly to see how we are doing. That is worth the fee.
