Worst lunch ever. You would think they were feeding a 3 year old instead of a strapping construction worker. Biscuits no taste whatsoever. AND, this crap was $16. You lost my business FOREVER

Stopped here Saturday Dec 14th. Got breakfast. Got 2 chicken fingers at like $1 and change. stopped here this morning. They wanted to charge me over $3 per chicken finger. Girl said the price for breakfast chicken fingers changed and was more than lunch prices. Not sure how the prices changed in four days. Wont be stopping here again.

This store used to be a five star drop but ever since they hired a few of the older women to work the biscuit counter they have stunk it up. The biscuit is awesome but no customer should have to put up with rude and arrogant service. “What choo want”, “we ain’t open yet” when the entire hot box is slam full of food, and my all time favorite, the silent stare treatment because they think that we think we’re better than them. Wrong! I’ve always appreciated the job those ladies do but my loyalty ended this morning.

Golden pantry is so expensive. Both items in the store and especially gas. Gas price 3.69 today at GP and 3.36 today at quick trip. Even the other local gas station is 3.50. This does not communicate they are about helping the local community. Update 11/7/23 Leaving an update to my review a few months later. Even with a three star rating Golden pantry continues to have high prices on everything. I also want to support the local gas station, but refused to do so when they don’t seem to want to help the community. Specifically, gas prices have stayed pretty steady the last couple of weeks around $2.51 But Golden pantry has not budge their price and they are at 2.79. Even Higher than expensive BP at 2:59, it’s really unbelievable. GP, show us you actually care about the customer.

The golden pantry used to be the best stores around but now they the worst. Highest prices and worst selection of most things especially candy and let's not talk about there terrible food. The biscuits were the best. I just went by the in Watkinsville and wanted a $3 chocolate milk and its was closed for reports with 3 minutes until they were supposed to open back up I asked if the guy get me 1 and I was going to give him a 5 and keep the change. Couldn't do it. That's so pathetic and I left and is exactly why I am writing this truly sad that something so simple couldn't be done. Way to go golden pantry for hiring top of the line kids and the little long haired boy (him/her) didn't put the phone down. Golden pantry really negative stars

Ive been going to this golden pantry for a year or two now, and they have never been disrespectful to me. Tonight was different, i was more than just not disrespected, but i was respected. The person working the counter tonight really set themselves leagues above others, just by showing care for my humanity. Kudos to golden pantrey for hiring such an incredible team member. Edit where it went from 5 star to 1 star... I just encountered the worst employee I've ever met here... Came by at 12:40 door was locked due to counting the drawer or something, pretty standard. They're supposed to open them back at 12:50. Well, 12:55 comes around the door is still locked. 1 comes around and I call, and ask if they're open. The lady responds in a pretty negative sarcastic tone "I'm about to open." She opens and the credit card machine isn't working, and she is showing NO concern. Doesn't apologize about the faulty machinery or anything. So we go across the street to the ATM, come in and try to buy something. She says the whole machine is down and she can't even take CASH. Not only did she say that, but she said it with a sarcastic and rude tone as well. I understand machines not working, but at least don't act like nothing's wrong. Show some effort towards trying to find a solution. I feel insulted. I'm not sure what her name is, but when I asked her she said it was Sherry. The night of April ninth to the morning of April 10th 2025.

I love the new store and have had great experiences since it reopened! Just stopped to fill up my truck and use the restroom. Soap was out at all sinks. I told the Assistant Manager at the register while I was purchasing ice cream and she didn’t seem concerned or respond to me. She didn’t offer to put my items in a bag and when I asked politely for a bag she acted like I was putting her out. I just spent $70 and expect to be treated with some common courtesy. I know people have bad days but this was a bit much. 9/17 at 7pm

They are always super nice but the food is never consistent. One day it’s great the next it’s terrible. The mars hill location needs to come retrain some of these people…. that location is always on point. Last time I went the biscuit was burnt and hardly anything in it… and your paying twice the amount for it… 🙄 …

Breakfast is good ifyoulikedry crumbling biscuits $7 for a chicken biscuit with gravy?? Thats hwy robbery. List the prices before folks get to register for sticker shock. Smh. Won't be back

Five stars for the best breakfast sandwiches I've had at a convenience store! Made to order or grab them off the rack fresh and hot. I've stopped getting quick breakfasts anywhere else.
