Paid bill to debt collector only to be charged again for no reason.

This is one provider at Piedmont ER. The care was excellent. However, I did not get a bill and these folks sent my debt to a collector less than 30 days after I was in the ER! The collector took months to respond, and these folks would not reply to my letters either. Six months later I have the info I need to pay the bill to the collector! All I wanted was info that the claim was adjuected by my insurer! If you are sick, ask a friend to help sort bills.

They "earned" one star because zero was not an option. The emergency room care my daughter received was criminal. Strong word, but appropriate. The wait in the waiting room was average, what you would expect in an emergency room; however, we wait hours in the exam room. When she was finally seen by a nurse after waiting over an hour, the nurse said she "googled" how to help my daughter and left us alone in the room with the instructions she had googled. The doctor came in probably an hour later and spent 30 seconds with my daughter. We waited another hour, and the nurse returned to tell us the doctor would be in "soon" to release my daughter. After another 45 minutes, my daughter and I walked out of the room and left. Criminal because we were charged for this sub-standard care.

My daughter went in for care and they informed her to go to the ER, which was accurate. But, they charged us $1,200.00 to tell her that!

No help at all and if you owe them money the report you to collections in no time before you get the chance to pay them.
