Sweet, cluttered little place with bookworms and good deals. Worth a visit if you love the real thing.

Best bookstore in the area hands down. It’s the only place I can consistently encounter books that I didn’t expect and am pleased to see. Don’t listen to the whiners, if you want to browse and be surprised, this is where you go.

This is a wonderful place to visit if you're looking for a few good books to read for a low price. I spent over an hour walking though this small house-like building. I was able to get 3 books for $3! Can't beat that price!! If you have a day off, definitely visit this place. Also, there were two very sweet elderly women there. They were very nice and fun to talk to while I checked out.

Lovely organization run by some lovely people. Saturday bag sale is hard to beat if you're looking to increase your reading list. Summer concerts in the evenings and the occasional solo musician during the day through the summer make it a wonderful experience. I'm really looking forward to the AC updates in the larger building.

This past week I learned of this book store and I love it! I went there first on Wednesday just to check it out and then again on Saturday because I learned that they do $10 bag sales (along with mini concerts on Saturday evenings). I got so many books that I have been wanting to add to my collection and filled up two bags worth. The volunteers who work here are kind and I enjoyed chatting with them and some of the locals. I definitely plan to be back! (One note that I should have thought of before going the first time, they only take cash and checks, so just be prepared to have one of those on hand.) Edited to add: they also take donations, so if you are looking to clean out some of your books/cds/dvds, I highly recommend donating them here and supporting the local library!

This is like an old junk store but full of books. A 501c3 that only accepts cash. Sketchy. Before you make a trip out to nowhere just know they have no organization, they have no system to know what they have and they only accept cash but all proceeds go to the library 😂 …

If you like used books, this place is a gem. Located in a tiny building in the quaint downtown of Winterville, the Front Porch Book Store evokes nostalgic feelings as you browse the stacks. Books are fairly well organized, and there are helpful volunteers from the library to answer your questions. For bibliophiles, this is a "must visit."
