Quick, honest service at a fair price. I came in for an oil change at the time of my appointment. I overheard the man at the desk mention to another customer that the maintenance team was running a little behind. Even so, they finished up my car in about an hour and I was on my way. Would absolutely call them again!

I had a very disappointing experience here. The front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, and I felt completely disrespected as a customer. Good customer service is just as important as car service, and unfortunately this place failed badly in that regard. I won’t be coming back.

Best in class! Moved to Athens and had been using Porterfield in Watkinsville. So glad I found these guys! SO FRIENDLY and what a difference in quality of service and PRICING!!! Had to get 4 tires and Five Star they’d be double the quality of what I have on my Honda CRV - 850 bucks! Always paid over $1000 at Porterfield They never disappoint When I picked up my car, they gave me a number for free roadside assistance in case I’m traveling and anything happens 🤯 Just for being a customer!!! 💪👀🏆

My husband and I have been going to the brothers at Five Star for over 10 years. There’s no one else we trust quite like these guys. They are honest, straightforward, fair, and just genuinely good people. There have been so many times I’ve gone to them with the many used cars I had in the past, where they would find me a part, but wouldn’t charge me unless it actually fixed the problem. Again, just good people. They are almost always slammed packed busy, but I find they are worth the wait. I highly recommend them.

I have come here for most of my car issues. The guy in the front office is friendly but direct with what he can do and will always beat the prices from dealerships. They are busy so dropping your car off without an appointment will mean you have to wait but that’s every car shop. The shop is always fair with what needs to happen depending on my cars issue and they don’t overdo or recommend items that are not required. They also stand behind on their work. I had an alternator replaced a few months ago and it was acting up a little and they fixed/replaced it with no trouble. Highly recommend you come here.

Super knowledgeable staff and very helpful in every way. Service charges are fair and they often perform checks and assessments for free. Courtney, the owner, is a wonderful guy and will explain how to make the best decisions regarding your car. Best auto repair shop in Athens. They would never encourage you for additional work which you don't need and will clearly articulate the necessity of replacing parts when needed. But they are usually booked ahead of time and you should definitely plan to call ahead.

Friendly, Honest and Trustworthy! That's what you want in a repair shop and that's what you will get here! I was told I had struts that were leaking and Jake said to bring it in to verify that was the case. After scheduling an appointment we dropped my wife's car off and he said it would take about a day. Jake called me to let me know that he was running into a slight problem and it would take just a little longer than expected. When I went to pick it up he explained exactly why it took longer but that did not change the quote I was given originally. I really appreciate a business that stands behind what they say, is extremely friendly throughout the process and provides excellent service. I have a business I can trust!

Jake has gotta be the friendliest and most honest front desk guy I’ve ever met. They don’t up sell you on stuff thats not necessary at the time but they make sure you’re aware of any problems that come up down the road. Unlike other shops that want to find every bushing or shock that needs to be replaced before you can safely drive it home. Courtney and his guys in the back do excellent work and pay attention to every detail of your vehicle. Tires, brakes, oil changes anything attached to our vehicles will be serviced and maintained by the great folks at five star!
