Philanthropy is an incredible business with beautiful products, friendly staff, and an even better mission. At least 15% of all sales go to local and global ministries! You can feel the difference in this store- the atmosphere is cheerful, welcoming, and warm. It's always a treat to stop by the store and see what new lovely things are in! Bonus- they have their own parking lot so no need to worry about keeping your meter paid! If you're in town, be sure to stop by this hidden gem!

What a cool concept, and such an interesting shop!! I could've browsed in there for hours!! Lots of neat clothes and household items, all creatively displayed. LOVED the prayer wall!!! Philanthropy is a beautiful store! The first time I visited, it was on a whim while I was on my way to class. I ended up missing class because I was talking with one of the employees for over an hour! The employees there are lovely, the store is an ascetic dream, and even better--a percentage of the proceeds go to local and international charities. Nothing quite like it in Athens, so definitely stop by if you get the chance.
