I am BEYOND grateful for Dr. Katz and her entire team. My son was hit in the face with a baseball on Friday. He ended up losing his sense of smell and having a hard time breathing through his nose so I took him to urgent care. They determined the nose was broken but I needed to get in with an ENT ASAP. I called ENT of Athens and they were going to get me in the next morning at 8:30, but when Dr. Katz heard what the urgent care said she was worried enough that she had her nurse call me and tell me that she encouraged us to head to the ER where Dr. Katz was on call at. Dr. Katz came in at 8:45 at night to see my son because she was worried that the injury could have been very serious- as it has been with other patients in the past. I am beyond impressed and we have found our family’s ENT for life.

I called to get clarity on what to expect for my appointment regarding what would be expected of me to pay at the time of visit . I didn’t want to come unprepared. Amy in billing was very rude and nasty to me . Talking over me loud , cutting me off and providing the worst customer service imaginable. I really try to handle things correctly ; I wanted to make sure I had to money needed at my visit and she was so nasty through the entire conversation. I also asked to speak with whoever she reports to and she refused saying she was the manager . Literally everyone report to someone. Imagine ruining a companies reputation with customer service skills in billing . I didn’t even get a chance to meet the doctors. Thanks Amy !

This was my first visit! I saw Dr. Jacline Phillips. She is awesome. She was very thorough and explained in depth what was going on. She was not rushed and treated me with compassion! I would recommend her to anybody!

I went in for a persistent nasal infection. The doctor was friendly, staff friendly as well. Was not notified about the pricing of the “test”, which consisted of the doctor looking into my nose with a flash light for 5 seconds. (Apparently a $754 charge) upon leaving the facility I paid $510 toward my deductible and was recently billed another $244 for the remaining portion of the bill. Talk about a scam.

I went to ENT of Athens for several months after dealing with chronic nosebleeds for years. Dr Murphy was very attentive and listened to my concerns but his first action every visit was to cauterize my nose. I ended up having my nose cauterized 5 times on each side and still have nosebleeds. They ended up referring me to a hematologist but we ended up finding out that my nose was so infected and raw from the amount of cauterizations that it made my nosebleeds worse. Also very frustrating when they would schedule me an appointment and I would come in for 5 minutes for them to say there was nothing they could do that visit and still made me pay $100. Overall, Dr Murphy and the staff were great, but for my complex case and symptoms, it didn’t work out for me.

I went in with a concern that I was really scared about. Dr. Jacline was amazing she put at ease, walk me thru the whole camera process. I was completely at ease. Everything was fine with no worries. But I know if I do have any concerns I will definitely choose ENT of Athens. No one else. They have my complete trust and confidence that my health is a concern and they care. I recommend Athens ENT if you have concerns and want honesty, caring doctors who's going to do everything possible to help you. That's the people I want taking care of me.
