Jamie did a great job painting the inside of my home. He listened to what I wanted and did the job within the timeframe that I requested. He is trustworthy and he will make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

EDIT: We previously reviewed this company after they worked on our former home. This year we moved into a fixer-upper and immediately hired Jamie to start improving it. The work has been consistently excellent. His crews tore out and replaced the old staircase, remodeled the main bathroom, removed an old stone fireplace and put in a contemporary one, made some changes in the kitchen, sanded and refinished the floors, and painted the main living space. The work has been great, I highly recommend them. Previous review (from our old house): Jamie and his excellent crew have just completed their third upgrade project for us. First a bathroom remodel, then replacing our floors with hardwood, and most recently improving our exterior by replacing all the trim and back door and building a great custom pergola. After seeing his work, our neighbor has hired Jamie too. Jamie is a thinker and a perfectionist, and his work has always been top quality. Plus he's a pleasure to work with. The full deal!

We are so pleased with our new master bathroom!! Jamie was such an easy person to work with. His attention to detail and desire for everything to be “right” and to our satisfaction gave us a great sense of confidence that we would be pleased in the end. His reasonable bid for the job in the beginning is what led us to give him the job, but the end result is what ultimately sold us! If you’re in the market for any type of remo for your home, you need look no further. This is your company and your contractor!

Jamie and his team completed an amazing renovation of my house! He installed all brand new windows, completely replaced my backyard deck, and did a lot of electrical work to get my house exactly the way I wanted to. He was on time, friendly, and communicated well! I would recommend him to anyone!!

Encompass Contracting just completed my kitchen remodel and I am so excited about the finished project! Jamie was so easy to work with and totally reliable. He was great about keeping me informed of the schedule and called to give me updates. He always showed up when he said they were going to. In addition, he and his crew’s construction skills were top notch. Great in creative problem solving and precise in work execution. Lastly, I lived in the house while the work was being done and his crew was very thoughtful about keeping the worksite as clean and organized as possible to mitigate the impact on the rest of my house I would highly recommend Jamie and Encompass Contracting to everyone.

**EDIT** I posted this and then took it down figuring , lesson learned. However, we had had our roof done 3 months prior to the work done by Jamie’s company and they messed up the drip edge on both the main house and the guest house. It’s going to cost us $19k to have it restored. I will be taking legal action. Our project was originally to start on November 13th and take 3-4 weeks. Due to 4 days of rain and other projects he had to finish, it was started later than planned. On the second day, Jamie texted to say someone’s car broke down on the way to our house and they’d be late. Later in the afternoon, we were advised the vehicle was in the shop so the crew couldn’t come. (There were 4 vehicles here the day before so I’m not sure why one in the shop took the whole crew out.) They resumed work the following week. He asked in the beginning if I had any particular concerns and I said yes, two. One, my grandchildren, 2 of whom are toddlers, are here often so care would need to be taken to keep nails and hazardous garbage picked up when they leave for the day. Two, please keep the gate to the pool closed and either cover the pool or be careful in that area. Every day, I walked outside to find the gate left open and nails and pieces/slivers of wood, paint chips and other garbage littering the yard and deck. I went out one day after they left and realized they had been using the pool deck to cut the material for the facia, siding and trim and not only was the pool full of sawdust, but there were 2 divots in the pool deck from the saw horses. We’re now months in and still not done with this project. The gutters have yet to be done after the painting is finished. I’m not sure if this job just had more pieces than this company typically handles or if he just needs a good project manager. We’ve had to remind him of the same things multiple times because he doesn’t write issues down and apparently forgets. They also replaced the trim around the garage doors and broke or lost the rubber seal but did not replace it, causing the door to leak. At this point, we are starting to see landscaping issues as well as damage to the cover on the hot tub due to no gutters for months. The finished product may end up being great and if it was an unoccupied building, it wouldn’t be as big of a deal. But having your house torn up for months with no end in sight is completely unacceptable.

It is RARE to find a contractor as communicative as Jamie. He just remodeled part of my kitchen, and I am so impressed. He is not only quick with communication, but he also checked in throughout the project and kept me updated with the process. He paid extreme attention to detail and you can tell he truly wants the best for his clients. Would absolutely recommend.

Encompass Contracting was recommended to us by a repeat customer. We were looking for someone to replace siding/rotting frames, paint our house and also put up gutters. Jamie and his crew were professional and courteous. Angel has attention to detail and clearly takes pride in his work. We are so pleased with how our house turned out; I’m over here wondering why we didn’t call sooner! We will definitely recommend Encompass Contracting to anyone looking for work to be completed at their home!

We have now used Jamie and Encompass on two significant house projects. I can’t say enough good things about him and his crew, and I won’t hesitate to employ them again. Communication, creativity, responsibility, timeliness, work product, and cost effectiveness are all outstanding.

We had purchased an older home that needed power washing, new doors, siding repair, gutters, roofing repair and a new paint job. Jamie and the crew at Encompass were very responsive to our needs, and did an especially good job fitting a new fiberglass French door into an opening without disturbing any of the custom moulding. They took special care to make sure the stucco home was very well prepared prior to painting (thoroughly scraped off peeling paint, caulked cracks, etc.). Jamie works hard to provide quality results and graciously handled scheduling changes as we coordinated his work with that of other contractors.
