This is for anyone who is a patient or is considering becoming a patient of Athens family vision to be cautious when getting your prescription glasses in the office on Hawthorne, i was charged for items added to my glasses that I should not have been charged for because the items where covered by my insurance company, I don't know what type of deal the office manager and the ladies who actually submit the orders to the insurance companies have but after years of Dr Russell Springer being my Dr I I was threatened with the police being called on me to actually being dismissed from the practice all because I asked about the cost of my glasses,I asked to speak to Dr Springer concerning my issue and the office manager got totally furious ( my opinion so the Dr's don't find out she covering for someone and herself). People in such times as we are in please be vigilant and watch out for thieves and scammers such as the one's I mentioned above at Athens family vision on Hawthorne in Athens Ga
