This doctors office is horrible. Nurse never answers or calls back. Dr Wilson rarely in the office. I just carpooled an hour to my appointment and they call me the morning of to cancel. I never felt like they ever cared about my health on my visits. This sucks because I have a medical concern I was very worried about. I guess I’ll need to find another primary care because this office just wasted my whole day today! Unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Dr Wilson himself is very kind. And does a good job. It is noticeable they have a new front end office that is unorganized, out dated and rude. I waited well over 2 hours to be called back for a routine check up. When I asked how much longer, the front end lady was very rude. If it wasn’t for Dr Wilson being kind and doing a good job I would not have waited. Apt overall took 3 hours just to have my vitals checked.

My husband and I have been going to this practice for almost 4yrs. I saw Dr. Wilson at first. He's very kind, amusing, but serious when needed. My husband and I see Karen Dixon; Dr. Wilson stays booked up. She is extremely smart, kind, and patient. The office might be a bit dated, but the care is not! There may be an occasion when someone is having a bad day, but 99% of time they are all wonderful.

I have been a patient for 15 plus years. Julie Pruder was the PA I saw. I thought she was just wonderful. Now I see Karen Dixon and she is so sweet and caring. I just don’t understand the bad reviews. As far as the office staff they have always been very helpful. Every once in a while they get very busy and stressed but don’t we all. I think they are all helpful.

The office visit was the worst (from start to finish) I've been to...the real icing on the cake was the very rude billing lady I spoke to in west palm beach, FL. She returned my call almost two weeks later (after the situation went on a year). Wow is all I can say. I don't go to the doctor's office very often, but thankfully, I had a very pleasant experience with another primary care doc in Athens--Dr. Farmer and his staff. Please do not waste your time at AAFP. There are other good primary care physicians in Athens!!

Not impressed with this office or doctor. Took my elderly mother-in-law to an appointment. She’s been seeing him for years, probably because he keeps her anxiety meds in steady supply along with whatever else she wants. But as an RN who deals with doctors daily, this one is about as unprofessional as they come. Office staff isn’t friendly, office itself is dated. Tried to address some of my MIL’s health issues with him, but he just talked over me and told her to “just eat” when I tried to bring up that she’d lost over 30 lbs in a month. Not thorough nor does he attempt to find solutions to problems other than dismissing them or throwing another pill at you. I might expect that from an MD but not a DO for sure. Find another doc in Athens.

Dr. Wilson is a nice man, but the P.A., Julie Puder, is the rudest, nastiest, most unprofessional person I have ever encountered in a medical setting. And she orders unnecessary tests to collect money from insurance companies. Avoid her at all costs.

I just saw Dr. Wilson today. He was very thorough and caring. After reading these other reviews I'm absolutely dumbfounded because this office has been nothing but professional from start to finish. I am very pleased with their doctors and staff.

Disaster. Total nightmare trying to get basic meds refilled.
