Just found a ticket on my portal, that I know for a fact was never put on my windshield. I have video footage of the old lady Barbara walking right past my car after assigning the ticket on her device. ZERO copy of it left for me, to know that I had violated parking. She wrote the ticket, but never gave me a copy of it. That SCREAMS scam to me. I have her on camera from multiple different angles, letting the owner of LayZShopper Park his van in motorcycle parking for hours on end. She never writes him a ticket. Same thing for the man with the silver ferari. She gives them special passes, but sneakily writes tickets on everyone else. I call to report a broken meter, that broke WHILE I WAS USING IT. I HAVE camera footage of it working all day up until my phone call btw, and I was told to do my best to find alternate payments to avoid tickets. at this point, I dont have enough to get booted, and I hope that’s something everyone knows. If a cop didnt give a ticket, and some old lady in a sunhat did, shes gotta catch you 5 times, before anything can happen to your vehicle. I hope I get another one, PHYSICALLY ON MY WINDSHIELD THIS TIME OR NOT, cause I would love to come to court with my Security footage in hand. This is becoming ridiculous. I look forward to seeing you guys in court for my next parking ticket❤️❤️❤️

They never pick up the phone, and when they do they’re usually rude, they frequently leave tickets even at broken meters. The biggest issue is that the meters are terrible and barely work, and they’re extremely hard to reach when this happens. They’re one of the worst parts of living in Athens. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Employees in the parking office are extremely rude. They acted like being asked a question about parking was a massive inconvenience for them and talked to me like I was stupid. Then, they lied about their parking passes saying there is a 2 year long waitlist, which I have heard from multiple other sources is not true and they just don’t want to sell passes because they can make more money by charging people hourly.

Wasn't aware of vehicle being in violation. The meter maiden saw me as I exited the vehicle. Instead of telling me to move she waited until I was out of sight and gave me a ticket. I politely explained there weren't any available parking spaces at the time and she shrugged and smirked. In the process of this she even tried to ticket construction workers servicing the businesses right in front of us. After this I still politely and professionally talked to her and an office attendant my number was taken down to talk with a supervisor for removal. I called back the following business week only for them go back on their statements and refuse to help me. I wouldn't advise anyone go to downtown Athens to spend any money while being treated this way. Especially when I too was providing a service to this same area.

I am given a - 0 star the only way to give a review they make you give them 1 star. Ticket for undoubtly a broken meter BEWARE in front of the parking deck meter #WN62. I tried putting my card in 3 times with no success. Then put quarters in the meter and still got a ticket. When I called I was told the the card not working in the machine was a user error...really! I followed all the instructions even clicking the green accept button which the young lady I spoke with didn't have a clue what green button then wants to say it was user error when office personal have no clue what is on the meters. Downtown Athens just got the last parking meter fine of $20 from me! This is robbery. They not only got the money that I put in the meter to pay for my parking plus the fine!

Write tickets when handicapped clearly displayed then they NEVER answer the phones forcing you to waste time / court to contest. Need to fire and hire in competent staff that does the job correct and answer phones business hours.

One time I wanted to film in the parking deck and some old dude came up to us and told us to get out, and "we couldn't be in here unless you have a car parked in here". Not gonna lie, he was super rude to like, four kids making a movie.
