Will not go back I bought several containers of ice cream and other stuff and only bought a certain type of ice cream because it was on sale. I will from now on in this type of store tell the cashier the price of every single thing because I was cheated out of the sale price because I've worked in stores and understand that you have to pay attention. The cashier charged me for the most expensive ice cream and not the sale price....of course on a warm day...85 degrees....I tried turning around but with ice cream and and the heat I called back and then was actually lied to as if I've never run a store or been a manager ever before....so I was cheated then lied to....told no yellow tag was on the vanilla ice cream and so I'm DONE with this store but I will go to other ones with same name as I know what it is....and by the way this store I'll not forget.... they lock up about everything....never seen that in a $ store .... except for this one...so this one is one I won't be going back to again ever.

I currently have been standing at the checkout counter for 12 minutes and I'm yet to see a single employee.. my drinks are getting warm someone please come let me buy them.

This is the best Dollar General I had ever been to. The store is super clean, and stocked. The lady in the back I didn't catch her name but friendly and helpful. The cashier Trey I hope I have his name right but very friendly and fast with getting customers in and out. Big ups to the manager over there.

New layout looks great. Customer service still blows. Both self checkouts weren’t working so I stood at their main register waiting while they worked on the self checkout….while I stood there 5 minutes just wanting to pay and leave. Wasn’t even acknowledged.

I came in there was only 2 lady’s workers but the lady cashier was very ruse & I believe racist to be honest! Short blonde hair/ White lady. I was being absolutely nice to her & she was just rude. Never seen her before first time in this store & i just paid & left.

This store has gone so downhill within the last couple of months. The new employees don’t seem to care and the store is a disaster area. So many items are out of place or dangerously blocking isles just waiting to be put up now. Also, there was some type of brown liquid spilled in several different areas with no signs around them. However, most worrisome is their blantent disregard to any type of Covid safety guidelines or even attempting to follow our city’s mask mandate! There’s a big sign beside the door stating face coverings are required, but many of the customers & also none of the employees had on masks with the exception of one employee that had her mask on below her chin. There’s no markers to encourage social distracting and I felt extremely uncomfortable with the close proximity an employee and customers where to me while waiting in line. I’m afraid I was exposed to Covid considering one individual was even coughing and the infection rate currently puts Athens as an extremely high risk community! I didn’t get the vast majority of the items that I needed, because I was in such a hurry to get out of there! I’m sincerely worried about Covid exposure now. This store’s conditions pose a public safety risk on many levels and are simply unacceptable. I will be contacting the district manager.

I stopped by this store today and this is the BEST Dollar General...This store is stocked so well w products and GREAT customer service ..I told the manager Andrea that this store looked great today and I was sending in a review cause most Dollar General's are EMPTY...Not this one keep up the GREAT work y'all !!!
