Every time I go into this store (Danielsville Rd/North Avenue they ring my items up wrong! Today they added an extra Monster Juice & extra sunflower seeds! How hard is it to swipe the scanner! This is crazy ! Now I have to go back to the store to get my $4.00 back! Very disappointed! Be Aware when going into this store! Check cash register receipt before leaving! After going back, got it straightened out! Check, check, check! He apologized!

Dollar General, store #13858. 800 Danielsville Rd, Athens Ga 30601. 2 Complaints:(1)The items priced on the shelves are marked at a lower cost, but then the same item rings up a higher price at the checkout register. At the checkout register, customers are charged a dollar 1 or more extra on items when they go through the register for checkout! The prices on the shelves are lower than the prices programmed in the register. The store is ripping customers off, saying the prices are lower on the shelf, but then when you get to the register, the items ring up a higher price than the price displayed on the shelves! (2) This issue was brought to the attention of the checkout clerk. The checkout clerk responded in a rude irate manner, I haven't had time to change the prices on the shelves, the clerk also said, I either wanted the items at the register price or I didn't! I asked the clerk if I could have the items at the shelf price. The checkout clerk became even more irate and said again, "Do you want these items at the register price or not!" Dollar General store #13858. 2025-01-21, 16:44, 13858 02, 2788. Being that I'm a regular Dollar General shopper, Dollar General has always charged their customers the shelf prices over the prices programmed in the register when an issue with pricing is brought to their attention.

The cashier threw an item on the floor behind the register because I decided I didn’t want it. I find that highly disrespectful. I hope you know you are in a field of customer service and fix your attitude or just leave. Not a job for you if you cannot treat people well.

This store has greatly improved over the past year. They're much more organized and personable bow. Before we had given up on going because of the state of the store but it is a good place to shop. The aisles are clean and organized and the staff is much friendlier than they were. Whatever they did to improve has been a great investment.

When going to the store on 10/18/2023 My car was damaged by the pole sticking out of the ground. I have called over 20 times. The day it happened manager charman was called and she told me what do I want her to do? No incident report was done. No nothing. My car is damaged and bumper is ripped off. I need my car fixed, calls returned and emails because that pole shouldn’t be in the parking lot

I came into this Dollar Store recently, for the first time. I thought a tornado had hit the store. There was stuff everywhere...on the floors, scattered, it was a disaster. It's a nice dollar store location though...nice parking lot, good size store. Just seemed like a wreck that day.

One of the employees there is very rude. She always has an attitude and always makes it impossible to just get your stuff and go. She has to make a smart joke or she's angry at her other employees every time I've went and last time I was there she was mad about something so she started throwing my grocery's around and dropps one of the bags. I really don't care what she's going through I'm just trying to get home to family and eat not deal with drama and the dollar store

If i could give them 0 i would, cant even walk trough the isles because of all the boxes and unstocked product, all shelves are empty. On top of that the employees are always on the phone. Literally during checkout the cashier was talking on the phone about having pregnancy scares with a guy she met a month ago. Unprofessional.

This store was well stocked and has items that some of the other DG stores don't have. What this store needs is more toys the hair toy aisle sucks.
