After i purchased a gift card i was talking to the person on my phone that scammed me and robbed me through it an employer came to me and said i couldn't be there like that and if i didn't leave she was going to call the cops like if i was a criminal it was an embaricing experience when i wasn't doing anything wrong ill never shop there again treat costomers with respect!

I buy all my cat food at Dollar General, and usually shop at the one in my former neighborhood. But I was out of the big cans, and needed kitten chow (the mum had just shown up with five!) and a few gallons of drinking water. This store is exactly like the one I stock up at once a month, and the cashier was helpful and lightning fast. The aisles are a little wider, it's a newer store and much easier to navigate with a heavy cart. My cats and I are very grateful to Dollar General. Their toys and food are less expensive than grocery stores, and pet food chains. I am still loyal to 'my' location, this one is not in the loop I usually use to run my errands. But it too is located in an area that, until it arrived was hard for anyone without a car to get to a grocery store. So five stars? You betcha! And I should probably write a review of my regular store, too, if I haven't already. I'll never pay the ridiculous mark-up other places charge on what is an admittedly small selection of name brand (Purina) foods again.

I like the store, because the staff is very friendly and helpful...but, the isles are cluttered and merchandise, that needs to be sorted and put away, always seems to be in the way. Maybe, they should hire staff, to take care of the stocking issue. It's getting out of control. Besides that, it's a nice store.

The place was a shambles. Empty boxes blocking the aisles, trolleys full of merchandise blocking the aisles, shelves totally unorganized. A total pain in the rear, I left and went somewhere else. The only positive was the young woman that checked me out... she looked kinda scary but was very nice and polite.

Charged my card for my purchase and refused to give me the food I paid for my family to eat dinner because of a " computer glitch". Its been 3 days and the charge has not been reversed... the district manager and the store manager said I would be refunded but when I went back into the store today the manager on duty did not know how to process the refund and I was told to come back at another time. Horrible experience. If I was charged then I should have been allowed to take the items I paid for regardless of a "computer glitch".... once the refund was approved by multiple levels of management its absurd that the acting store manager could not figure out how to process a refund and that I would have to come back at another time...

The register kept messing up with My debut card.mycard was fine it was their fault.was not able to do what I want there to do and by the time I finally got checked out using the cash I had and needed it loaded on My chime card! Really messed me up! To late to go somewhere else to do it!

When I got out if the car, it seemed like the usual and nothing else was expected. All on track, until I got to the register. The cashier had such a great vibe. She said good evening, asked how I was doing, asked if I found everything OK and is this all for you tonight, before she rang up my order. Customer interaction heaven, I tell ya. For a quick DG experience, this was oddly more. I felt as if I walked away with my spirit buoyed a bit. You see the time I was there DG, so check the schedule to see who was on and give her a raise.
