Do not recommend. Made it clear during my initial appointment that he only had a certain amount of time to meet with me. He spent 11 minutes with me, did not address my concerns, and quite honestly his "bedside" manner was terrible. In fact, he stated negative things about my PCP who made some suggestions about testing. Additionally, my diagnosis was confirmed by another allergist, for which Dr. Firschein was completely dismissive of and stated un-factual information. Specifically he said that I needed to have symptoms for longer to have the diagnosis, not "just the past 30 days." I NEVER write reviews, but steer clear of him. His CV/resume may be impressive, but his demeanor and personality needs a lot of work

I am writing this as a result of my daughter bringing my grandson to see this physician today. I have to say as a medical professional myself there appears to be a few factors at play. Number one, he does not have what is called bedside manner. He speaks unprofessionally about other medical professionals that he has no business saying to the patient/mother of child. That reflects his lack of character and likely an inflated ego. People choose to go to specialists at the recommendation of their doctors/nurse practitioners and do not need unsolicited opinions of practitioners such as this one. I recommended that my grandson never see this doctor again as he had not offered any practical recommendations but rather a bunch of complaints. Number two, it looks like he is upset that he had a small child in his office that he feels does not have an allergy issue but rather a swallowing issue and potential GI issue. Shame on you Firschein and get out of bed on the right side next time.

We have seen Dr. Firschein for the last 8 years and love him and his staff! He always answers our questions thoroughly and always makes my child feel at ease during the appointments and testing. We could not ask for a better allergist!

Dr Firschein is very knowledgable and though I found him a little hard to pin down initially he was quite patient with all my questions. He was quite thorough in making a diagnosis. Feeling better!

I want to share a experience that lasted for many yrs. My daughters name is Casey Looney ( married now for 10 yrs married name is Hightower), but because of Dr. Firschein, Dr. McKean and the good Lord, my now 30 yr old is a beautiful healthy mother of 2 girls and expecting another. Please let Doc. Know about Casey. I owe you guys more than money or thank you's . You gave me my daughter back and words can never express how we feel about you both. God Bless you both!
