I got married August 19th 2023, and it has taken me almost three months to write my review for Darby because I could not find the words to describe to gratitude and love I have for Darby! I had been following Darby on Instagram for a while, and after getting engaged, I knew that her work could tell the story of my wedding day in a way that I could only dream of. Darby is just lovely as a person, an incredible communicator and business woman, kind beyond belief, and on top of it all, the most talented photographer I have ever met! She was organized, prepared, knowledgeable, personable, creative, and somehow knew my vision based on just a few photos. I have never been comfortable in front of a camera, but Darby so naturally was able to make me feel like a beautiful bride and calm as could be on my wedding day. Darby did our engagement photos as well as our wedding, and I could not think of anyone better to capture big moments in our life. She was able to capture our love in such a special way, and I am forever thankful for Darby, who gave me the best gift I could imagine. She handled everything, down to timelines, family shot planning, poses, and more. I would 100% recommend Darby Bobo Photo to anyone and everyone who wants not only someone to capture their big day, but a friend in the process. Darby was such a joy to work with!! Not only is her work incredible, but she was able to bring a comfort through an overwhelming day. Leading up to wedding day, she was communicative & flexible while offering her insight into how to make the day run smoothest. My husband & I had never been to our venue before wedding week and Darby took some extra time to walk the property with us so we could pick & plan spots for photos - such a blessing and relief to have someone else make some of those decisions :) We had a small wedding in Mexico and I really wanted to capture the fun and joy of our relationship but also all the friends & family who got us here!!
