I am so appreciative of Dr. Ogburn and Athens Ortho. Dr. Ogburn surgically repaired my arm after it was broken in an auto accident. He did a wonderful job and I was able to return to normal much faster than I thought possible. Dr. Ogburn also has a better "bedside manner" than any other surgeon I've encountered. Hopefully there are no more broken bones in my future, but if there are his office is the first place I would contact.

I had a very bad accident and fell and broke my left ankle in 5 different places. Dr. Ogburn is hands down the most caring doctor. After he finished with my surgery he promptly called my husband to let him know that everything went good. My family and I thank GOD for Dr. Ogburn. It was a scary time and Dr. Ogburn was always so informative of everything I was to expect. We could also tell that he is a good family man because I was never rushed or just felt like a number. I’ve been receiving home rehab, for my knee fracture, for a year, and I needed an updated visit for my job. I was experiencing pain and still attempting to walk.After receiving my x-rays and talking with Dr. Ogburn, he reassured me that everything was fine, and reminded me that my injury was a long one, so it’s normal that my recovery is equally as long. Dr. Ogburn also sensed that I was a little hesitant with my exercises and he assured me that my knee wasn’t going to break (again) and my pain was normal.

The appointment was timely all of the staff were professional and polite. Dr. Ogburn took time to review my injury with the x-rays and discuss what to expect over the next weeks and months. We discussed which medications would be appropriate and the personal exercises that I should consider. All of this was done in a very friendly, concerned and professional way. Dr. Ogburn is amazing! I am so thankful for him making sure after three trips to the ER, that the third trip would be my last time, for the correct placement of my tibia. I am not sure what Dr. Ogburn said to them but I heard a nurse say, "Dr. Ogburn said, we have to get it right this time or he is coming here to do it himself" and so they got it right on the third try. I was then out of extreme pain and could let the swelling go down and proceed with having my ankle surgery. My surgery went well and I had no problems, his nurse was great at always getting back with me about any questions. My follow up appointments went well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that wants things done right!

A great experience after a minor trauma! I was seen quickly after my injury, treated and discharged with mobility equipment and contact information for any questions. When I had some questions prior to my follow up appointment, response was timely.. Dr Ogburn and his staff are knowledgeable, informative and caring.. if the need were to arise.. I would be happy to be treated at AOC Urgent Care again!
