Carpets Unlimited might be able to install flooring but they don't know how to remove it. If I could give this business 0 stars I would. Because of a sewer backup, they were hired to remove engineered hardwood. The flooring had been glued down to a slab just 2 months prior. They were aware of the requirements of the project and assured me they could remove the flooring. In fact, Danny, the owner, repeatedly told me that "he appreciated me" If he "appreciated" me, he would have told me the project was beyond his capabilites They were unable to successfully remove the flooring after 3 days and I requested they leave. Their incompetence made it even more difficult for the next contractor to remove the flooring. The pictures show what a mess they made. The LAST TWO PICTURES SHOW THE TYPE OF MACHINE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED AND THE RESULTS THAT A COMPETENT CONTRACTOR PRODUCED. I received the following text below. Danny is blaming the rental company for renting him the wrong machine. Yet in the next paragraph he states that he used " the exact machine on tons of jobs." A serviceman from the rental company came out and stated "he never saw anyone removing hardwood flooring with that machine" The floor was extensively damaged despite what Danny claims. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm in a flooring business they called a rental company that has flooring removal machines. I told them that I was removing 2500 ft.2 of glue down wood and tile and to give me a machine to do it the fastest and the correct amount of blades as well. This is what they gave me I apologize I failed you by counting on another company to do what they are in business to do we will be out of there very soon FROM ME: I was under the impression you used the machine on other jobs. If not, I should have known upfront. The machine has damaged the slab. It is too late to do anything today We've used this exact machine on tons of jobs. The machine didn't damage your slab. The urethane adhesive used to install the wood is strong. Removing the wood has Al removed the concrete with it. We are going to clean everything we've removed and get your of your way. Good luck. Carpets Unlimited recently completed the carpet for my new office and did a fabulous job! When discussing what carpet to move forward with, Paul was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their team was in and out in one day with videos to follow once it was all done. The final product looked great on video and even better in person!

I don’t even know where to start! 4 days ago we had a small grease fire in our kitchen that ruined the carpets in our home. We put out feelers for a flooring installer and were told to reach out to Sarah and Danny by a family member. Within 48 hours of contacting them for the first time they made the 2 hour commute to my home to take measurements and deliver samples, get my financing in order, draw up a contract, and had my floors installed. Efficient doesn’t begin to cover it- they went above and beyond to make this happen for us and came in on our tight budget! The floors look amazing and their crew was so diligent, thorough, and hardworking. We are over the moon and will be recommending them and their team to everyone we know!

Outstanding! The customer service and quality of work was excellent. We called Carpets Unlimited on a Friday afternoon looking to get filthy, gross, carpets cleaned for a move-in apartment. Mr. Chasteen was terrific! In no time they came to our Athens apartment and did an excellent job! Professional workers and quality service. We might have lucked out finding them available, but Carpets Unlimited was responsive and very happy to help. Absolutely recommend. Thank you!!

We just had our flooring installed by Carpets Unlimited at our lake house. This was a remodel job of which 2 other contractors stepped away from. A 3rd contractor came in and quoted over $40,000.00 for the job. An inspector from Carpets Unlimited measured our job and immediately came in at 300sqft less than the previous quotes with a better product and also found issues with our sub floor that others did not find. We can not recommend Carpets Unlimited enough for their professionalism, job performance and quality workmanship. Thank you Stan, Danny and the older gentleman that came out and did the estimating for saving us over $8,000.00 on this project. We will refer our friends and neighbors and recommend your company to anyone needing new flooring in the future.
