I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking quality care. I took my son in last Thursday Feb 13, for 4 impacted wisdom teeth. NO ONE came out when he was done to talk to me, Dr. Gray, never came out. After my son had been awake for 10 minutes per the nurse, they took him out the back door and stood him next to my car, ALONE while they came back into the building looking for me. (I was in the waiting room where they told me to sit) I grabbed my belongings and went outside to find my son, propped up against the car, alone. Not in a wheelchair and unsupervised 10 minutes after anesthesia. As I was getting him in he began shaking, and the nurse just pushed him toward into the seat and said it was normal. He had substantial bleeding over the next 24 hours which was normal, but then began to run a fever for 4 days post op. I contacted the office on Friday to alert them to the fever and they stated as long as it didn't go higher, then he should be fine. He was finally fever free for 24 hours on Tuesday and he returned to school on Wednesday. Dr. Gray refused a school note past 5 days without us making an appt to come back in. There are many other quality Oral Surgeons in Athens to choose, from. But from our experience- this is not one of them. The main office in Conyers has been absolutely amazing in answering questions and assisting through the claims process. Maybe additional training of staff and apparently Dr. Gray would be helpful in bringing them up to par.

My entire experience has been wonderful. Each visit has been pleasant. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome. Dr. Gray is awesome! He takes time with you by explaining everything you want to know. I received a phone call from Dr. Gray himself just to see how I was feeling and if I had any questions 24 hours after my procedure. If I had any questions regarding billing and insurance, I would receive a phone call from the office by the end of business hours or early the next day. I highly recommend this establishment due it's positive environment and quality service.
