Love this little hidden gem. They serve fantastic breakfasts 100% — but don’t sleep on their lunch menu either! They cook delicious southern style menu items like fried fish, pork chops, tenders, wedges, pot pies, collard greens (it does depend on the day though!) I recommend adding a detailed menu to google so people know what to expect the day they come in :)

Heard about this place and went to ask if they had any Sausage and gravy biscuits at around 5:30 am. It did not disappoint. Reminded me of being a teenager and getting breakfast with my dad at a small place where I grew up. Some of the best sausage gravy I've had along with some really good biscuits. Authentic, southern, and might as well be home made. Definitely give it a try. I will be going back.

First time here and will not be back. Lady preparing our plates was rushing though and not listening to what I was saying. We ended of getting three sides for the price of four because of it. The pork chops were really dry, which I guess is why they had to be drowned in BBQ sauce. Chicken biscuit was mediocre at best. On the plus side, the squash casserole was great and the cashier at the front was really nice.

Got a bacon cheese biscuit, steak biscuit, and grits. Large biscuits!! There was lots of bacon, the steak was as large as the biscuit, and the grits tasted like they’d been cooking for hours… as they should be lol Yes it’s a gas station breakfast/lunch; but, these women know how to cook up some southern Yums! Thank ladies

One of the best biscuit places in Athens! It's located inside of a convenience store. I've only ever tried their breakfast goods but I've heard their lunch menu is off the charts. I always get a breakfast bowl and their grits are AMAZING. By far the best grits I've ever had from a restaurant. Staff are nice and they don't seem to have a turnover at all. I've seen the same faces for over a year. This is definitely a go to!

Overall, I really like the bread basket. I really do. I still call it the bread basket. The breakfast is great and the staff is usually very friendly. However I came for lunch today and the deli worker was just really rude. As soon as I walked up she just looked at me like why are you here… and then proceeded to say how can we help you… I ordered and when I asked for white bread she said no we don’t have white we have wheat… but then proceeded to give me white, so I don’t know why she was being sarcastic. She was just very unwelcoming and had such uninviting energy. I asked if the red squeeze bottle was hot sauce and she just looked at me and then threw two packets of hot sauce on my box. Then another customer asked for a cup of ice and she told the lady so rudely “it’s right there you can just go get it” she exhibited very poor hospitality which is not representative of this establishment at all. She then proceeded to go outside and smoke which I’m sure is the reason she was so irritable.

I go there all the time to get breakfast so the this morning I with to bread breakfast to get breakfast so I ask the lady can I get the bacon jst came up the person that was cooking it that person had attitude I told the person it don’t matter and he said it do matter like what you get want you pay for so I will never get breakfast there no more jst the attitude for me

Outstanding!!!!! Food was served fresh and the flavor was amazing!!!! The only peach cobbler that can compare to mom's!!! Highly recommend!!!!!
