Bike Athens is incredible! I first came into contact with them when they were doing a free bike repair at the Tate Center. The next semester they helped me repair my bike after a tire had been bent and they were incredibly kind and understanding. Great organization that cares a lot about the community!

I showed up today Sept 25 at 4:20 pm and they were already closed but as Matt? Was locking the door-I described my situation-and instead of telling me to come back on another day-He amazingly went back in the shop and brought out the exact size tube for my grandchild’s bike. Then to even further be a blessing he went back in and retrieved a manual tire pump and installed the tube in the tire and pumped it up to exact PSI needed. It is nice to know that in these turbulent times that we all find ourselves in that there are people like Matt and Companies like Bike Athens that strive to be a blessing to their fellow human beings. My 7 yr old grandson will be over the moon when he sees his first bike that we were able to get second hand. It now looks just like new. See pic of me and his new bike. A big Shout-Out to Bike Athens and Matt for their kind service to the greater Athens community. ❤️

Recently bought a bike here and am so happy with it! Right before I bought it, I expressed that the seat was uncomfortable and that I wanted a kick stand, and asked if they had ones I could purchase. They immediately let me pick a different bike seat and put a kick stand on for free. They also made sure I had any materials I needed to figure out bike trails around athens and laws regarding biking in the city. Would buy here again.
