Now this store is B&T Food Fresh and at first I was wary of the change and losing the “localness” of Bell’s. I am surprised Google hasn’t updated their maps for the new name/ownership. Anyway, I am happy to say the store is still the same with great meats, many low prices and product offerings not available at Kroger/Publix and other stores I shop. The staff is the same awesome friendly crew. There are minor changes, such as the addition of B&T Food Fresh store brand, quality products! I adore their Hot Salsa which is superior to Pace brand, for example. Today I was pleased with the public bathroom upgrade! (Photo). I hope that you and other Athens value/quality shoppers will include and support this store with your regular shopping! They changed the name but still they had green tomatoes. That's what I wanted. Most grocery stores don't have them.

Love coming to Bells. The produce section is always stocked and fresh. Also love the decor and hand written signs/messages they write throughout. Kudos to the employee doing that! You make people smile! And you can tell they care. Not to mention they got great prices in comparison to other supermarkets. I always make a quick stop here when I need something.

I had a remarkable experience at Bell’s today. If you’re looking for a good country breakfast you should check out the bakery on Mondays through Saturdays, in the morning time. Biscuits, eggs, sausage, bacon, country ham, cheese, gravy. Make sure to tell Amy hi, because she is the sweetest person there and is sure to make your day special.

Greatly improved since it's become the B&T. Very clean, well stocked and the people seem much more hospitable. I miss the creative displays made by that really nice old man. I'll have to come back more often to see how much it's improved

Great store for customers that don’t like shopping at the larger chain stores. My grandmother and her sisters loved Bell’s. This store has been around a long time and you’ll always run into someone you know. Brings back wonderful memories from when I used to shop with my grandmother at this store as well as the one that used to be on Lexington Rd. as a child. 💙
