I was doing regular cleaning today. Karen did a great job on this. I am satisfied with the result. Manager Diana explained very patiently about the potential treatments and my bills for me. She is super thoughtful and kind. I have been receiving regular maintenance for years at this clinic, and I highly recommend this place for its great service, professional skills, clean and welcoming Environment.

I went in for a wisdom tooth removal, very friendly staff! They were fast and efficient! Place was very clean, they also offered me plenty of water and snacks! I didn’t have a primary dentist, they for sure won me over today! I highly recommend them for your dentist needs! Huge thank you to Diana, Joni and Dr. Clay they were awesome!!

Such a wonderful experience at Athens Smiles! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. Diana, the office manager, went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free. The dental assistants, Joni and Angie, were both so kind, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. Hygienist, Raley, does an amazing job thorough yet gentle, and explains everything so well. It’s clear the whole team truly cares about their patients and works together to provide top-notch care. I can’t recommend Athens Smiles enough!

Best experience from the front lobby and all the lovely treats and warm and friendly greetings from desk to my experience with the ladies in the back to my check out an explanation of my treatment plan with Diana she was very helpful and helped me understand my treatment with the upmost professional experience. I would not recommend Athens Smile! We actually really loved their past office manager which in turn made us love the office! They were always upfront and helpful but that has seemed to change. While they were working on my teeth prior to the office manager retiring the dentist and her assistant was working and bad mouthing her while they were doing my filling. I may not be able to talk but I could hear and it was very unprofessional! My son (18) then had a filling completed here. He had said it felt like they pulled on the nerve which honestly I did not believe him at first. It didn’t calm down (continuing to hurt) so they referred him on….the specialist told us it looked like someone pulled on the nerve so that’s why it was so inflamed. He had a root canal performed at another office but we came back for the cap costing us more at this office than the place that did his actual crown! When I paid the full $441 (to the new office manager) I asked if insurance had paid and was told yes, she even stated they didn’t cover the filling at all since they had just placed a filling this year already (the one the other office told us they messed up). My husband then went into their office for his cleaning and they asked him to pay an extra $330 on our son’s account. I tried to reply asking why the cost was more than they had told me and even though they used to reply I never received anything back. When I called the front desk lady said insurance hadn’t paid so that’s why I needed to pay the extra amount. So I asked why I was lied too and she stated “excuse me I don’t know why the attitude but would you like to talk to the office manager” so I said “yes please!” We seemed to play phone tag never connecting so instead of still having it hang over our heads I paid it on line and we will not be returning to this office and would not recommend anyone ever going here! It has seriously went down hill!

Avoid This Place Like the Plague — Especially Diane If I could give this place zero stars, I would — pure garbage from start to finish. I don’t know who gave Diane a job here, but clearly, customer service wasn’t part of the hiring process. She was rude, dismissive, and talked down to me like I was wasting her time — all while they were overcharging me for things I never agreed to. The prices here are laughably inflated, and when you try to ask for clarification, Diane acts like you’re too dumb to deserve an answer. Sorry, but if I’m paying you hundreds of dollars, the least you can do is pretend to be professional. The vibe of this whole place is: “We’ll smile while we rob you.” Diane just skips the smile. If you enjoy being talked down to, lied to about pricing, and handed a bill that looks like a rent payment, then sure — book an appointment. Otherwise, save yourself the time, money, and sanity and go literally anywhere else. This office is a ripoff with a bad attitude, and Diane is the face of it. Now, to be fair — Dreka and Joni are absolute sweethearts. They were the only two people in the building who acted like they cared about patients and had a clue how to treat people with basic respect. Honestly, if it weren’t for them, I would’ve walked out mid-appointment.

It was a completely new staff. That was a big bonus! They were smiling. They all had pleasant voices that made a huge difference with the service I received. Made me smile in the dentist’s office.
