Just so stinking overpriced. They’re a major wholesale dealer so they really could do better on their retail pricing. I don’t understand why as large as they are they don’t do more to support show feed for local FFA and 4H kids. They are making three dollars a bale on wood chips out of South Georgia gouging the fire out of kids in the FFA SAE program. There should be a discount code or card given by the advisors.

I have been getting stuff for Athens Seed for years but this fall we had to unexpectedly dig up our lawn. When it came to re seeding Athens Seed set us up with the perfect seed, fertilizer, straw and all the instructions. The lawn is looking awesome!!!

First time shopping at this store and I was treated very disrespectfully. I am new in the chicken homesteading world and needed to make a return on something I purchased from them in their recommendation. When I went to return the product (that was used for less than an hour before we realized it didn’t work in our coop) the woman and manager made me feel very dumb about my return and did it in front of 6 or 7 people. It was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Will be shopping elsewhere for gardening, farming needs.

I stopped by today to buy fertilizer and an insecticide for my pecan trees. They had everything I was looking for in stock. And the best part by far is that they brought the 50 lb. bags of fertilizer from the warehouse and loaded them into my car. I never had to touch them ! This really means a lot to me as I get older and it becomes more difficult to lift those heavy bags.

Great place for pine straw, that’s it. Bought recommended weed killer which did nothing, manager refused to refund or swap out to a different chemical; no discount or compensation allowed. I will buy straw there, nothing else.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. More options for food plot seeds in stock than I've ever seen and good prices. I will definitely be back for other garden seeds and animal feeds also.
