I was quoted for cash out of pocket for a 14k shoulder surgery, 1st quoted with anesthesia was $875, doctor was $4983.14, surgery was $8200.00. Before my surgery I asked receptionist, doctor and anesthesia doctor was I gonna get another bill. I asked because of all the reviews I read before surgery, and they said no you paid in full and upfront. Well 3 weeks later I get a bill from anesthesia for another $419.50. Which I'm not going to pay. If I do it will be a dollar a month. Supposedly they said it was because they figured my surgery was gonna be a hour long, doctor knew upfront he was doing bicep, rotator cuff and bursitis issue, so it took a hour and 50 minutes. That's the difference they added, so the doctor or billing isn't honest. I will remove this post if the bill and any other bills is forgiven due to there misleading information for this one surgery. Hope this helps the ones that are planning on using your hard earn money for price gouging medical facilities.

My son had hip replacement in 2023 & and now a knee replacement. Both times went wonderfully. Everyone is so kind & helpful and made the process so smooth. I can’t praise Dr Ryan enough. He is outstanding!!

Surgery last week and I'm currently on the phone still trying to get my prescriptions that were not sent. When you call with a question you will get transferred to a voicemail, but no one has returned my calls. Rude staff too with no urgency when I finally spoke with Michelle and Tracy.

They were super kind! Each nurse was really understanding and I loved talking to them. They calmed me down and made sure I knew what was going on in every step! They helped with the post op and made everything smooth. They even scheduled our physical therapy so we didn’t have to do it! Quick and easy! They also gave us the opportunity to send a letter to the donor family.

The entire team was very efficient and they worked together to ensure I was comfortable and at ease. Dr. Katz performed a manual carpal tunnel release procedure on both of my hands (nine weeks apart). I am very pleased with the results - no more numbness, no more agonizing pain, and no more cumbersome splints. He has an excellent bedside manner and he patiently answered all of my questions. The incisions were much smaller than I anticipated; I’m confident the scars will be virtually invisible. I highly recommend Dr. Katz and the Athens Orthopedic Clinic team.

Dr. Tally, Skye Barrett, and the entire staff at AOC were fantastic from start to finish. Skye got me in on quick notice and helped me figure out the proper treatment for my condition. When that was figured out, I was scheduled for the procedure and had to wait a minimal amount of time. The morning of, the prep team took great care of me, and got me ready. Dr. Tally, with great precision and stealth, had the procedure done within minutes. Great team, great people!

I met Dr. Price after 10 days of terrible sciatic nerve pain. He listened to me- I truly felt heard. After testing, medication and a bit of time, I received an epidural injection. It was a pain free experience in a very inviting environment. After just 24 hours, I’m almost completely pain free! Dr. Price has treated me with compassion and care. He has treated the immediate issue, and has a plan for moving forward. I totally recommend him for anyone! Thankful to be his patient.

I went to Athens Orthopedic for a full knee replacement. My surgery was there at the Surgical Center. I am very pleased!! Doctor Manfredi and his staff are amazing!! I can feel the caring they have for their patients. I would highly recommend them for any orthopedic needs.

If I could give 10 stars I would! My family and I were blown away at the care I received yesterday from not only my wonderful doctor but each and every staff member of the surgery center. It was my first surgery and they explained every move they made in detail and made sure my comfort came above all else. They are truly the model that all medical offices, doctors, and centers should strive to be. I am more than thankful for the experience. They even made sure I was completely comfortable with leaving the facility before discharging me with detailed instructions and equipment. We were so very blessed to have found them.
