The doctors are fine, and while I was told there was nothing that could be done for me, I was "given" a small wrap for my hand. These wraps are $30 at Publix and at Amazon - the exact same make. I was sent a bill from AOC for $150 for the wrap. I called and was told I couldn't speak to the business manager, but could leave a message. I did, no return call. I wrote a full letter giving all details. No reply. Since reading the previous review about how they immediately refer outstanding bills to a collection agency, I shall go over to the clinic and see if I can get any help with this incredible overcharging. At least 500% and probably more, since they would get them wholesale. Beware!! Next day: I emailed them on a Sunday and got an immediate reply from the business manager who sorted out the bill straight away, turned out I owed nothing.

I was treated at Athens Orthopedic Clinic in Athens, Ga for a sprained ligament in my right arm. I had multiple visits over the course of a few months, with my last one ending in January. In March, on the 27th, I received a bill for a visit in October for $84 -- apparently, all in overdue fees! I called AOC immediately, since I had paid my bill after EVERY visit, and was treated like a criminal and told they would not speak to me and that they had already -- LESS THAN A WEEK FROM ME RECEIVING THE BILL -- sent the account to a collections agency! So not only was I not sent a bill until the payment was four months late, they sent it to a collections agency, which increased the fee to $102, before I even received the bill! They take advantage of students. I will personally never go back to Athens Orthopedic Clinic. The doctors talk down to you, as if you don't understand your own pain, or you're trying to get drugs out of them. I wouldn't have even accepted pain meds if offered, yet I was treated as if I was lying about my sprained ligament. I should have left the moment I felt this way, but I didn't, and paid the excessive price for it. Don't see this clinic, go somewhere else. They are not worth your time and DEFINITELY not worth your money. Stay away unless you want to pay extra for nothing and be treated like a criminal!!!

Dr Savitz just doesn't care about you. Spent less than 3 minutes with me . Doesn't take the time to talk or answer questions. Maybe he had a bus to take this day. I don't advise you to go there. "You are not going to die " it's what he told me ! If he wants to deal with people who are going to die just don't be orthopedist in Athens!
