I had a wonderful experience despite being in a very scary situation. The staff made me feel welcomed, I had no wait (even though i was early), and Dr. Bolton was very understanding and supportive. I have to say her bedside manner, before and after my surgery was amazing. She made feel safe and secure as I went into a scary procedure and was very supportive as I was going through recovery. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bolton and her practice.

We’ve delivered 2 babies and went through 1 miscarriage with Dr. Fletcher. She’s been professional, caring and thorough with each baby and is very easy to communicate with. When we’ve needed help after hours the other physicians have been great as well! We’re thankful for Athens OBGYN!

I love Dr. Fletcher! She takes time to listen to your questions. I never feel like she is rushing to get to her next patient like most doctors are these days. The office staff is all very friendly and everything is run smoothly. There is never a long wait.

I’ve been a patient here for over 10 years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. When I tried to schedule an appointment due to ongoing pain, the next available was over a month out. I expressed the urgency of my symptoms, and was told a nurse would call to discuss pain relief or other appropriate steps. After several missed calls and voicemails, the nurse eventually recommended I be seen sooner to rule out potential causes. I was told someone would call me to schedule an earlier appointment, but I never heard back. I ended up having to wait for my original appointment — nearly a month later. Leading up to the visit, I received several reminders, none of which mentioned needing to arrive 20–30 minutes early. I showed up exactly at my appointment time, only to be told I couldn’t be seen because I hadn’t arrived early enough to fill out paperwork. Despite explaining the urgency of my situation, I was told they couldn’t “squeeze me in” and the next available appointment wasn’t until late August. While waiting to see if anything could be done, the front desk staff casually mentioned they hadn’t even scheduled the ultrasound I needed to diagnose the cause of my pain. There was no apology, no effort to find a sooner opening, and no empathy at all. What made it worse was having this entire conversation in the waiting room, in front of other patients. It was not only frustrating, but embarrassing. After being a loyal patient for over a decade, I felt completely unheard and dismissed. To be clear, this review reflects solely on the poor communication and lack of compassion from the office staff. I’ve never had any issues with the doctors themselves — they’ve always provided excellent care. But unfortunately, the way the front office handled this situation left me feeling neglected and deeply disappointed.

Had an appointment scheduled as a new patient. Mad this appointment, months in advanced! New patient documents was sent through a link on my phone, did my documents 2 days prior. I get to my appointment and they said I had to reschedule because I was supposed to arrive at 8:30 so I can do the new patient documents (which I already done so). They stated that they don’t receive the documents through the link but yet I got a link to complete them. Stated that someone should’ve told me but DIDNT. Wasted my time and money, most of all ENERGY!!! If I can give 0 stars, this will be the first!

My gynecologist, Dr. Murthy, is wonderful! She takes time to listen. I never feel rushed. She remembers me from one year to the next. Her professional skills are excellent. However, I wish the practice accepted Medicare. Even if you are a long time client, once you hit 65, it becomes self-pay.There is a discount, but it's not the same as accepting Medicare coverage.

Dr Cline is the best! She’s been my doctor for over 30 years and takes such great care of her patients. She never rushes through the appointments, takes time to talk and listen, follows up on test results, and really cares about her patients. I wish every doctor would treat patients with the same level of care as her!

Dr. Bolton is a great doctor. I was a young mom and scared and she took care of me. She made me feel confident and worked with what I wanted for my birth plan. She is a great doctor and an even better person. Love her ❤️

I was referred here by my doctor. I made an appointment to see Murthy for an annual exam. I showed up 30 minutes early to do paperwork. Got to the room and was highly dissatisfied and in disbelief with how I was treated. She asked questions about very personal traumatic information that did not concern and had nothing to do with the situation on why I was there. During the entire appointment, she had a rude and snotty attitude behavior. I asked her a couple of questions about my period and she said I could either take birth control or up the medicine that I currently take. That was it. She explained nothing else that could be going on nor did she take the initiative to want to help me with going further into why this was occurring. I do not recommend her whatsoever. I experienced highly rude, unfriendly, and snotty behavior. A one-star review is too much for her.

Dr. Fletcher listened to my concerns and took my opinions into perspective. Especially, when deciding what the best course of care was for me. I am thankful we have someone in Athens who specializes in PCOS.
