So extremely disappointed in my daughter's experience here. My daughter went in with a cyst that needed to be removed. She is 19 and I am out of town so she went by herself to the first appointment and was told to remove it would be a simple procedure that would have a quick recovery where there were no limits on her activity. I went down for the surgery because she was going to be put under. The nurse called once surgery was started and said everything looked great and was going to be routine. Well, when she came out and Dr. Yancy came up to me to tell me about the surgery she said it was a lot deeper than she thought and it was going to be about a month recovery and she had to have a drain and stitches, both of which she was never told about or given any inclination that it would even be a possibility. My daughter plays volleyball and has lots of activities planned as a sophomore in college where we would have waited to have this procedure done if we knew it was going to be this long and painful of a recovery. Do not go to Dr. Yancy and definitely do not send your college age child to her! So extremely upset and angry for my daughter that she is having to go through this at the beginning of school and with no warning that this was even a possibility. If you have a choice, stay away from this doctor.

Best medical experience I’ve ever had. Called me back 10 minutes early, everyone was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Was out of the office 5 minutes before my appointment time. Also did not have to fill out a bunch of redundant and pointless paperwork. Would recommend.
