The doctor and admin staff are extremely knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. Initial visit with Dr. Smith was on time and I learned a lot. He was very patient and answered all my questions. The final exam was on time. Nurses did a great job of making me comfortable and a painless procedure.

The doctors and staff were extremely nice but the price is a problem. There are offices that do upper GI and colonoscopy in the office but here you have to go to the hospital and pay them too. I don't know which doctor I'm even paying or who did what. If I'm paying them that much for an office visit that's ridiculous. I have insurance too.

Great experience for me and my wife. We had multiple procedures performed last 30 days. Great to deal with a Doctor with a friendly personality and disposition. We highly recommend!

The nurse/PA I had the initial meeting with gave me a directions sheet with some parts scratched out, some highlighted and some handwritten in. Also I had a bad experience with the prep they prescribed. But the main problem was I had an appointment for 10am. A nurse called me a couple days before to confirm I would be there at 9:30am (which I was). They called my back a little after 10am, stuck a needle into my arm and attached some wires (stick on) to my chest and left me in a little room with plastic curtain walls. I sat there (no phone and no TV) and stared at the plastic curtains til 1:30 pm (a LITTLE OVER 3 HOURS) before they got me for the procedure. No one checked on me or updated me on when it would be my turn. My wife said in the fine print of the paper work I signed they indicated the "average wait time IS 1 TO 5 HOURS. Their focus is on what is convenient for the doctor, NOT on patient service. I will never go there again.

Absolutely terrible experience. Never met the Dr. so can’t say much to that. Imagine waiting 2 months for an appointment, having said appointment, waiting another month for the actual colonoscopy appointment… taking off work for both visits.. liquid diet for more than 24 hours, taking medicine that literally makes you stay awake pooping all night, waking up to get to the office, only to get there and it be closed. Sorry, we don’t know how this happened? The Dr is out of town. We never had this appointment get put on our schedule. Are you kidding me? How can a business be run so poorly? To top it off, they called 2 hours later saying actually, the dr isn’t out of town, he can come do it now.. oh… you already ate? Well nvm if you had continued your liquid diet we could have done it today. What.are.you.talking.about. We were told it wasn’t happening today and there was nothing that could be done, of course we’re gonna go eat since it was all for nothing. To blame me for eating was the absolute icing on the cake. Do not trust a dr who has an office running like this. Will find another place to go.

Very bad experience with this service. Posted a bad review before and it seems to have disappeared. Bad service from before the colonoscopy. Made to wait over 3 hours. Tried pushing the service button to find out what was going on. But it was broken. The doctor had an attitude also. I will never recommend this service to anyone.

Staff was polite, loved my doctor I saw. Explained things thoroughly. Nice,, compassionate, & understanding. I had to wait a looòoong time b4 I saw the doctor but when I got home & looked at my calendar I realized I had been a couple hours early,so really not their fault. The Receptionist was a trooper. It looked as if she was doing everything in the front.

I went to Athens Endoscopy today, and I encountered the rudest receptionist ever. She was very disrespectful, and obnoxious. The doctors are very professional, however, the older lady who works at the desk should be better trained in customer service manners because she has none. The house manners are horrible and will make you feel worse than your present condition. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect, avoid Athens Endoscopy.

Everyone treated me in a courteous and professional manner. My concerns were met with understanding and interest. It was a very thorough question and answer session. I feel very positive about the care plan I'll be on. I feel I am in good hands.

The staff here is very friendly and everyone went above and beyond to make my visit as pleasant as possible. The facility looks and feels brand new, and I was admitted right on time. Recovery was quick and I was on my feet and leaving with no drunk or hung over feeling. I've been seeing Dr Grow for years and will continue to do so. Thanks guys for all that you do!
