Saw Dr. Miller today, she is excellent in her field. Had my vision checked. Was referred to another doctor for laser cleaning of a contact. She called ahead and text to make sure I would be taken well care of. She goes way beyond the call of duty. I recommend her to anyone.

New patient experience was efficient, easy, friendly, and dependable. Can't ask for anything more. I had a few follow up questions by phone, and they responded quickly and resolutely. I almost went to another local provider, but they buried me in paperwork prior to the first appointment and had me signing agreements to extra fees that my insurance should have covered. It was enough of a red flag that I searched for a new office and am so glad I found AFV!

This office is staffed with great people who are friendly and very efficient. The doctor I see is awesome, and she does a thorough exam and explains what she is seeing. As far as annual exams go, Athens Family Vision is the best.

While the doctors here are fine, every time I’ve called about trials or contact lenses, front office tells me someone will call me back. No one has ever called me back — every time I need something I call again 5-7 times on different days until someone responds. It is so difficult to get a hold of anyone. I’ve been calling and texting since last month to get them to approve my prescription so I can order contacts. Today they said they finally got to it, but I still cannot order contacts. At this point I won’t be buying contacts from them, I just need them to put in the prescription so I can order elsewhere. I don’t recommend going here due to the customer service.

They know how to take care of patients and they know what's best for your eyeballs! The prescription they gave me was different from the last place I went and I could see so much better... in both contact lenses and my new glasses. And they got me my glasses in the same day. All around great experience.

I really don't understand why businesses like this have a online form to request a appointment but they never respond to your request for a appointment. And after reading some of the other reviews I'm glad they didn't respond.

Great experience with Shelly and the team at AFV. It was my first time visiting and I came specifically came in with my prescription and was able to get glasses. Shelly and Heidi were so helpful to me as we picked out frames. Thank you for taking our insurance, too!

Just received glasses. They are working out well. Very pleased with Dr. and staff in all areas very nice. Had problem with lab. Took 4 weeks to receive. 4 stars because had trouble communicating and getting a response with why the delay.
