I visited this car wash for the first time today and was met with extremely nice and very helpful people. I have been looking for a full service car wash since the one I used to use shut down. I am usually in Athens at least once every month or two and decided to give them a try. I got the basic full service package and was pleased with the job until I opened the back of my SUV a little later and saw that it had not been vacuumed, which was obvious because I had just returned from a trip and the back definitely needed a good vacuum. I also noticed when I was driving that the outside of the windshield, windows and side mirrors had not been dried or wiped off, I could still see where the wipers can not reach and there were spots, drip lines and smudges still on the outside. If not for these things, I would have given them 5 stars instead of 4! This will not deter me from trying them again as I know everyone has off days every once in a while, so I will be back to give them another try!

Would NOT recommend this place as far as “Full Service” goes it’s all half-done minimal work. The car wash is literally mediocre and the staff is unprofessional and sarcastic. I had to return 3 times in order to get BASIC clean up done. I never got a receipt and kept asking SEVERAL times for my receipt. “Manager” kept telling me the owner would provide me what I needed. Owner NEVER showed up, and Manager didn’t come into work. I mean seriously IM NEVER coming back here. Good luck to anyone that does and make sure you get your receipts.

I’ve had bad experiences here (been a customer since 2020), but the staff has gotten better therefore my experience has become better. Athens car wash and express lube is under new management, and they have new staff. The new staff was friendly and efficient. The prices have increased, and the services offered have decreased.

This place is a SCAM! Do not waste money time and effort bringing your car here. Today I paid $28 for a full service, but the manager and the other staff only cleaned the interior of the car. No cleaning outside (see photo). When I asked them to clean outside, they said that they were leaving at 6:30 (the place closes at 7pm as mentioned on the website). Today’s situation was not an isolated incident. A few months ago they didn’t clean up the back area of my car. I only returned today because I thought it was a single isolated situation and decided to give them a second chance. I think that’s the worst car wash service and customer service I’ve ever experienced. Stay away!

I went by there Thursday November 2nd after I’ve been doing business with them for 7 years without any trouble. Pull up into the wash area and guy pressure washes the side of my truck until it takes off the paint and chips my molding. I went through the wash and got out, notice it and go inside to talk to the lady at the front desk. She claims they are not responsible. I ask her if I can speak to the owner. She tells me he will call me later in the afternoon. I never hear from him. So I go by there the next day to see why he didn’t call me. She tells me he refuses to talk to me and that he will have me arrested if I keep trying to get in touch with him. They were very rude and unethical. All I asked was to review video footage with owner and they refuse. Avoid this company if all possible. You can go across the street to the tidal wave and get a much better experience. They will damage your car at Athens Car Wash and claim they are not responsible for cars older than 7 years.

I attempted to have my vehicle washed on Sunday, 7/18/2021. The website says they open at 9 but they did not open until 10, so I had to make 2 trips. Then they did not accept customers until 10:10 because they were not ready. After running my car through the wash, I expected an interior cleaning. They had no one to do this and they would not complete the service. I asked why one of the employees just standing around couldn't do it and Justin the manager said that they were oil guys and snidely asked if I wanted oil guys to clean my interior. This misrepresents the truth because there were 3 car wash guys (red shirts versus black shirts in the picture) who were not busy because there were zero other customers on the property. Justin had plenty of objectives/rationales why he would not help me (e.g., national labor shortage) and it was plain that he did not care about me as a customer. I ended up cleaning the interior myself. Terrible customer service and they do not regret it. I just called to discuss the issue. They did not answer the phone and their voicemail box is full. I will never use their services again.

I took my brand new ride in for her first bath and spa service. I purchased the top of the line dawghouse wash and detail. They were very attentive and my Blueberry is fresh and shiney. Check em out!

Im still a Member, I bought a pass, So I can just come when it's convenient for me and the staff is very nice. Stop by get a Wash and change your Oil all at the same place have your car detailed if you have time. You will love the service.
