My interaction at the Athens Banner Herald was very little, but it was a good experience. We were having my mother's obituary placed in the paper. I thought it was a little bit on the expensive side but honestly I had no point ofreference for that. It was printed exactly as we gave it to them with no errors and ran in the paper at the time that it was agreed upon. I have no complaints with the people we dealt with they were very pleasant.

They pressure people at protests to reveal their identity despite safety concerns, then put their photo in the news after asking to not be identified. I've been followed and harrassed because of their journalistic practices. Friends of mine have had people try to track them down and stab them because of journalistic practices like this in Georgia. It needs to stop.
