I have been a patient for over 15years. I see Karen Dixon. I have no complaints. I find Karen to be friendly and easy to talk to. She has never rushed me and always listens to my concerns. The only problem I have with this practice is the turnover. There is always a new assistant or new office staff. The staff they currently have is friendly and helpful.

Dr Caruso is the worst doctor iv ever seen by appearance, needs a nose n ear trimmers. He forgets what you tell him often, if you don't have insurance totally forget this office. Way over charge people, most offices I found now has 50% off for cash payers, not here. Doctor lied to me when I came here with existing major pains, he told me he won't let me suffer. 9 days before my first pain med clinic appointment I was told he don't wanna see me no more. I know why is cause I was gonna ask for 9 days worth of meds because I called in advance. Honestly hoping not to have to pay full office visit fee for small prescription,.Not even a call not to come in. They wait till after I drive there n wait to tell me all this. No respect for customer at all. Pam OM says he should of told me a week ago as she rolled her eyes.

I have been coming here for about 15 years and while it's always been a good experience, things have been exceptional lately. I have seen a couple different Doctors there over the years, but my recent visit with Dr. Wilson was very good. I also wanted to mention someone named Tamera that works there who has always been incredibly pleasant and helpful when I call into the office.

I have been seeing PA Karen Dixon for a couple of years. She is very thorough in reviewing my chart following blood work and has quickly made referrals when I had health issues that needed to be addressed by a specialist. Karen is kind, friendly, and very professional.

This was my first experience with a nurse who did not bother to greet me or welcome me. In fact, she turned her back on me in the exam room, fired off questions, and typed into her computer. The doctor was a bit better. He did tell me his name. Kudos to the front desk, however. I was greeted upon check in and check out and the employees were helpful.

I used to LOVE this practice. Have been a patient for 15 years. But the office manager and staff have been increasingly unprofessional and they act like they’re doing YOU a favor by making you wait (often over an hour) for labs and to see a doctor. Expressing my displeasure was even more frustrating. Their opinion seems to be “if you don't like it go somewhere else!” I think I’ll do just that!!!

This office does not have their stuff together at all. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago to see Twanya May, PA, to have bloodwork done for my hypothyroidism. I got to the office and after waiting 30 mins in the waiting room I was taken to a room. She worked me in, which I was grateful for. However, I was told that they had no record of me ever making an appointment at all. I never got a call from the nurse regarding my bloodwork after a couple weeks, so I called her. She responded back the next day and told me that there was apparently an error with my blood results and I would need to come back to have more bloodwork done before a perscription could be written. She transferred me to the front desk and I set an appointment for the next day at lunch time so I could go on my lunch break. The day of my appointment I called the front office an hour beforehand and verified my time and appointment. I got to the office and signed in at the appropriate time and was taken to the phlebotomist station. I was told that I was not supposed to be there and that they would not be taking my blood. I can undestand a conflict like this happening once. Mistakes happen sometimes. However, for this to occur twice in the time span of a couple weeks is ridiculous and assures me that I'm not the only patient having to deal with this. The phlebotomist and PA were nice about the situation and apologized to me several times. However, the PA's nurse was extremely rude and did not take any accountability for her actions. There was no empathy or care whatsoever; only attitude. She became very rude and agressive when the lady up front verified that I did, in fact, have an appointment. I was sent back out to schedule another appointment for a month after wasting my time. However, I told the lady in the front not to worry about scheduling me back because I am finding another provider. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would not wish this hastle on my worst enemy. Save yourself a headache and find a different facility.

Unlike the other reviews, I’ve had positive experiences at this facility. I’ve been a patient for 17 years. During that time Dr. Wilson has been my doctor, and I’ve seen a succession of PAs. Each was caring, concerned, checked over my chart while conferring with me. 15 years ago a PA at this practice diagnosed that I had a torn ACL in my knee. She was correct and I had seen Orthopedic Surgeons in Athens and Atlanta who missed that diagnosis. Subsequent PAs were vigilant of my health; one sent me to a Cardiologist who detected AFIB. Karen has been my PA for several years. She listens carefully and remembers changes in medicine, symptoms, and my general health. Patients are allocated times for visits, but Karen has never rushed through an exam or failed to thoughtfully answer my questions. With the current situation surrounding COVID, I’m thrilled to have professionals that I am comfortable with. Regarding the staff and nurses, I’ve always been greeted kindly and professionally. Checking out and setting up future appoints are prompt and easy. It’s my pleasure to HEARTILY recommend this practice.
