As a retired licensed SC Residential Home Builder I would highly recommend America’s Home Place - Athens, Georgia as your home building contractor. The production group is very knowledgeable and have insured that all codes meet or exceed standard requirements. Subcontractors are well scheduled to keep project moving timely. Subs have been respectful and have done quality workmanship. Project management checks all work regularly, and should owner have any questions or concerns they will be addressed immediately. I feel our home is rock solid and constructed the way I would have built it myself.

We are still in early stages of building but so far they have been excellent to work with at every step. We moved back home in June of 2020 to build a home on my family land. We had nothing but trouble trying to find someone that would do anything at all. I wish I had just gone to AHP from the very start. Every person we have worked with, Cullen, Mandy, Bill, and Bobby have been wonderful and made this so easy and dare I say quick! Lastly, I am having custom master closet and pantry work done by another company. When they came out to measure after framing was completed, they said this is BY FAR, the cleanest job site they had ever seen. Also they said the framers had done an awesome job and the measurements were dead on, apparently that’s unusual, and I’m guessing this closet company looks at some fairly high end homes. They were visibly and genuinely impressed. For reference we are building the Berglund R with modifications.

From the very first day I went into America's Home Place I knew that I was in the right place it just felt right. They have an amazing group of people. They really listen to you, ask the right questions. They have a very great set up from start to finish so if it's your first time building a home I refer you to America's Place. I have heard many stories about building a home some almost scared me away. But my experience has been nothing but good. Even when things come up they were ready and available to help. They answer your questions, by phone or email in a timely manner. It's the little things for me. Everyone's experience will be different but my experience has been great thus far. I'm single and I had to make a lot decision by myself but Mandy and Bob really made this process so easy. And my builder is amazing he is so patient and kind. That also means a lot. My whole building team I don't know everyone's name but each of them has been amazing. They brought my dream and vision to life. With that being said thank you all each and every last one of you at America's Home Place THANK YOU ALL KINDLY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. May God bless each of you.

About 6 months ago I walked into Mandys office, tears in my eyes and frustrated from having 3 other failed builders waste my time. After having multiple discussions and meetings and emailing back and forth, She has made the entire process easy and stress free. We went over several options and restarted several times. She never once made me feel obligated or rushed to do anything. She went above my expectations and gave her honest opinion when asked, very understanding of difficulties I had and just took the stress out of the entire building process. I cant express enough how grateful I am to the Athens building crew. Everyone I encountered was professional/honest/and willing to be flexible. Highly recommend. 5 stars aren't enough
