Well guys! I bought my 2016 Nissan Altima SR about a week ago. This Company was super amazing! Anthony and Steve were so helpful and so enjoyable to be around. They didn’t hover, they gave me all the information I wanted and needed. They happily handed me over three different keys to try three different cars. Let me drive them.. My time with this company was stress-free. After I had purchased the car, I told them that I would give them an honest review. Only after I drove the vehicle for a week. I can honestly say that this is the best car that I’ve ever bought! The car ride so smooth, no problems, I even drove it past Atlanta and back, and it drove like a dream and then low miles. For a very great price. I am super happy to say that I bought a car from Amax Auto in Athens. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to this auto lot and I will definitely be purchasing another car from them sometime in the future! So, I was searching for a car for my soon to be 16-year-old for his birthday and found a 2012 Nissan Altima with 61k miles at Amax. I called to make sure car was still in inventory before I made the 3-hour drive from Alabama. Talked with Steve and he said yes come take a look. Upon arrival, car was exactly like pictures on website. Test drove and everything checked out good. I decided this was the car I wanted for my kid and Steve and I made the deal. Steve was very polite and offered me all my options as far as warranty and payment methods. Great overall experience dealing with this company. They made me feel like a friend instead of a customer. If I'm ever in need of another used car, I will definitely check with these guys first. Special shout out to Mr. Anthony for getting my car shipped to me when it was ready for delivery, so I didn't have to drive 3 hours back from Alabama to pick it up. Bottom line: If you are looking for a quality used vehicle for a great price with exceptional customer service, go check these guys out. You won't be disappointed.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CAR LOT ! I gave the man a honest opportunity to make what was wrong , right but now he isn't replying to my calls or messages 😕 to start off I bought a 2013 dodge durango ,test drive went good took about 10 minutes car seemed to check out good to my knowledge (fast forward to the ride home) about 30 minutes into the ride home we noticed the car surging when in high gear runing about 70 and the vehicle was bouncing all over the road than about an hour later the check engin like came on... than we finaly made it home all to just find out the awd wasnt even working so I wasn't even able to get up my drive way so i try to diagnose it. turns out it doesn't even have a frount drive shaft ....SMH this vehicle has been nothing but problems and i haven't even made the first payment... i have reached out to Mr.flores he said he would see what his crew could do about the issues now i have just been ghosted with no communication... the vehicle was originally listed for 10,999$ after 3000$ down payment and 4.3 year loan my total is 22k I understand interest rates are high but do not understand where my 3000$ down payment went if the principle amount is still higher than the original price

Horrible experience, do NOT go to this dealership!! My fiance bought me a new vehicle from this lot 2 weeks ago, upon arrival the tire pressure light was on due to the sensor going bad which wasn't a big deal to us so we decided to go ahead and test drive it anyways, we took it up and down the road and it seemed to do fine and after checking all the fluids, we decided to go ahead with the purchase... on the way home the car started surging and at about 70mph it started shaking bad due to bad tires with knots in them, the button to the driver's side window literally came off, and then the check engine light turned on which we assume he knew about and cleared because we found a code reader in the vehicle with his name on it as well. We got home and it started spinning going up our driveway and the all wheel drive didnt work, upon looking at it the front drive shaft was missing too!!! We were told "the issues should have been addressed at the time of purchase" but yet none of the issues popped up untill our 3 hour drive home, and he said he would see what he could do about it and we never heard back from them after that. Car is no where near worth the price we are having to pay for it when we are going to have to fix a handful of things and hope more issues dont start to pop up especially because the price went up 10k when all the taxes and everything was finalized. Car shouldn't have costed even half the price that it did given the issues that came up on the way home!! .. I belive he knew all of the issues and withheld them from us, given that we could go after him and his company for misrepresentation of the vehicle upon purchase/fraudulism which we are currently looking into doing!! Be very cautious buying from them if your considering going to this place. Would never recommend to anyone if they asked me personally. I wanted a good reliable vehicle for me and my child to feel safe and they were not transparent about what we were purchasing at all and continue to read our messages and not reply and wont do anything to make this right on their end or even give enough decency as a business owner to at the very least reply and be accountable for theirselves. Again do not waste your time at this place unless you want to get scammed.

I worked with Steve on getting my lady a vehicle. I told him exactly what I wanted and he made it happen to fit my finances. To make it even better he got my original down payment plus original monthly payment lowered. Definitely would return in the near future to do more busines.

Recent car purchase tires had screws in it. I mentioned it to the dealership and he said they would take and patch them. I waited for them to repair them. Got home with the car and parked with wheels turned. Car still has screws in 2 tires. Updated.. after speaking with Steve with Amax they are making it right and paying me back for my repairs. We certainly do appreciate their diligence for upstanding business practice.

Would not recommend, very unprofessional business owners at this dealership and not up front about what you will be buying.. Drove my friend a few hours to go get herself a new car. The car had a handful of issues that were not disclosed at the time of purchase and weren't something that would have been able to be noticed at time of purchase either. Very unhappy to have drove that far all for my friend to get essentially lied to.. we thought due to all the good reviews it would be a solid lot to buy from and they proved us wrong. We sat outside and played with our kids while the papers were signed and they let a mother and child leave the property knowing a vehicle wasn’t safe
