I love this playground. It is surrounded by a garden. There is one playground with more of a nature approach and another with a slide/rope bridge/spinny seats.

This is all in one place for both children and adults, parents, friends, and guests. This special garden is a "complete university", teaching, learning, and much more resources for all ages. Well and environmentally friendly, designed to educate children about the State of Georgia. Many plants and vegetables planted and arranged following agroecosystem and zones Georgia. Hiking trails your visit memorable. The State Botanical Garden hosts many events throughout the week/year. This children's garden would make change your mind about moving from you currently live at and move to Athens. So beautiful and amazingly designed!

This is an awesome play area for kids! It has an area at the front where the kids can play in the water. The next area you come to is a garden area where they have raised beds filled with vegetables. Then they have a treehouse play area in the back. There is actually some shaded areas which is hard to find on playgrounds in Athens!

At least half of it is shaded and there are a couple of water misters. Its a great place to go before its too hot and even then theres still places to sit and cool off. My kids love it and so do I
