Got a cylinder from them and gave them a $100 deposit that I’d get back when I returned the tank. When I returned the tank they said they don’t buy them back

My company had an emergency at an off site location, and we needed liquid nitrogen to complete a repair to get our machinery up and running. This event occurred after hours, and NO other gas company would respond to our need. Not only did Air Gas of Athens deliver the needed nitrogen, Dwayne delivered the nitrogen after hours twice! Because of Mr. Lane's prompt and professional response, we were able to make the necessary repairs, we were able to get the machinery up and running. Every organization needs employees like Dwayne Lane. If the decision was left in my hands, I would give Dwayne a sizable raise and a promotion. Thank you, Dwayne Lane of Air Gas of Athens. Terrible customer service. Really deserves a zero rating. Rude staff, can't supply all the equipment associated with compressed tanks, can't answer basic questions about my account, billing, what they provide and don't...complete confusion and disinterest in running a good business. I've tried to stay with them, thinking it would improve but if anything it's only worse.

Gave 1 star just to leave a warning. Deserved -5. This was my 2nd attempt to buy from them with the same poor results. First time they gave me the wrong product like I wouldn't know the difference, and said I was wrong. They don't know bronze silica from shinola. This time they just said we don't sell that. No attempt to help at all. Well genius, on your website the product number is UAB29201. I don't care how bad I need an item, it'll NEVER be purchased from this company.

Was checked out by a very rude worker. Older white man with glasses at the front. If I had another place to get what I needed to today I would have gone there but had to settle here. Been doing business there for years and never been treated like that before lost a customer today.

I was sent on a wild goose chase to get some CO2. The staff was very nice and helpful. If you need welding supplies or party supplies (it turns out I was sent for confetti cannon propellant) I highly recommend this location.

STAY WAY ! Do not buy any thing from This store! There is only one nice person at the counter Tim and the other people at counter are extremely rude and will overcharge you every chance they get! If you know of another store go there!
